"Nice ambience, but drinks were too sweet"
We really enjoyed the ambience, and the menu offered some interesting options. I tried three cocktails—creative and flavorful—but each was a bit too sweet, even after requesting them less sweet. Aside from that, it was an overall good experience.

The bar is presented as something special, but in reality, it’s quite ordinary—soft lighting and the only unique feature being that it’s hidden from the street. The unsolicited password felt unnecessary, and the atmosphere lacked the excitement one might expect from an alternative, mixology-focused venue. The cocktails were good quality, but nothing exceptional compared to other places, and €15 for a small drink felt excessive. There was no live music, and the overall experience fell short of the “wow” factor often promoted. In other European cities, finding great cocktails, live music, and appealing surroundings is more common, making this place feel overhyped—despite the friendly and attractive staff.
"Expensive"
The cocktails here are fantastic, with creative takes on classics like the Negroni and Old Fashioned that are truly excellent. The only downside is the high prices, with some drinks costing up to €20.

We were warmly welcomed into this fantastic venue, where the staff combined professionalism with genuine friendliness. The atmosphere is unique and relaxing, complemented by great music that perfectly sets the mood. The service was impeccable, with high-end cocktails crafted with evident passion. Five stars feel almost too few for the experience we had. Prices were very fair for the level of service, and we’ll certainly be returning multiple times. Grazie, Jerry Thomas!
"Bar hanging out with nieces and nephews"
It was my first time at this type of bar, and I really enjoyed it. The place is cool, cozy, and very popular. The drinks are good, and the service is definitely attentive.

Undoubtedly the number one speakeasy in Italy. The team is knowledgeable and friendly, offering both historic cocktails and rare drinks that are hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere of the private room is truly unique, making it a standout experience.

An amazing spot with world-class cocktails, super cool staff, and fantastic speakeasy-style décor. Entry requires a password or a reservation, and you can even smoke inside—showing just how relaxed and trendy the place is. That said, it has become popular with some tourists whose attire and behavior lower the overall vibe, and some patrons seem a bit overconfident given the occasionally uneven standards. It’s clearly not a restaurant, but a late-night cocktail bar, and yes, it’s very pricey—but the quality of the drinks and the experience make it worthwhile.

An amazing experience from start to finish. The cocktails were the best we’ve tried anywhere in Europe, perfectly balanced and expertly crafted. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. This will be the first place I recommend to anyone visiting Rome!
"Really good cocktails"
My wife and I make it a point to seek out bars like this in every city we visit. While the experience was slightly affected by COVID measures, the place is still very cool, and the drinks are definitely worth trying. Smoking is allowed inside, which was a bit annoying for us as non-smokers, but overall it was an enjoyable visit.
"Get dissapointed"
We made our reservation days in advance and provided the password to enter, yet another couple arrived without a reservation or password and was easily seated at a better table with a larger area, while we were placed in a small spot facing a column. This felt unfair, especially since it was my birthday and I had expected a special experience. Aside from that, the cocktails were quite delicious, the interior was cozy, and the staff were professional and attentive. Prices were reasonable, but due to the seating situation and lack of consistency in honoring reservations, we don’t think we’ll return.

One of Rome’s best cocktail bars, hidden behind a secret entrance and inspired by Prohibition-era mixology. Reservations are required, but the experience is unique and intimate.
