Kempinski Hotel The Dome Belek

"The Worst of Suites"
This place is absolutely not worth your money. To sum it up: the food is on the level of a 3-star hotel, and the dishes smell like dirty rags. There are no shows or entertainment for children or adults. The mattresses in the bungalows are worn out and never replaced, despite charging €150 per night! On top of that, there are not enough sunbeds on the beach, and the air conditioning system is a disaster. We called villa staff three times because it was freezing cold inside, and their solution was to block the ventilation with a towel. 🤪 Horrible experience overall!
"Unforgettable Stay at Kempinski – Thanks to Muti and Yakup!"
We had an amazing stay at Kempinski! A special shoutout to Muti, the best bartender — his cocktails were outstanding, and his energy made every evening at the bar so much fun. Yakup was equally fantastic — attentive, kind, and always greeting us with a smile. Both of them truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable.
"Relaxing family vacation with excellent food and beverage service"
Even though the hotel feels a bit dated and could use some general renovations, the quality of food, beverages, and service was excellent. We visited as a family spanning three generations, and everyone had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive, helpful, and made sure all our needs were taken care of.
"Medium rest"
We are currently staying at the hotel, and overall, it’s an average experience — neither bad nor particularly good. The food selection is limited, but the quality is high, which we appreciated. The hotel feels half full with few guests around, creating a quiet atmosphere. However, finding space on the beach is frustrating as most areas are covered in towels left by others, and no staff seem to monitor or manage this. Cabanas are available but come at steep prices of €100-€250 per night, with only the most expensive ones offering real comfort. We arrived at 10:30 AM and booked two rooms but weren’t offered any assistance or options to check in earlier, not even with a surcharge. Instead, we were left sitting in the lobby until 3:00 PM. Normally, hotels at least offer snacks or light refreshments while guests wait, but here breakfast had ended, lunch hadn’t started, and there was nothing available. The most disappointing aspect has been the staff. They seem indifferent to guests and unhelpful overall. Every question or request is met with the same answer: “No, we can’t help.” This hotel could have earned four stars with better service and a more welcoming attitude, but sadly, it falls short.
"We Want to Come Back"
Saki is the perfect destination for anyone seeking a relaxing and peaceful vacation. The beach is absolutely stunning, and dining at the Tulip Restaurant is a true delight. Special thanks to FB managers Mr. Mahmut and Mr. Mehmet for their remarkable attention to both their work and their guests — they truly elevate the dining experience. Chef Engin and Kadir also deserve praise for adding an extra special touch to every meal. On the beach, Lady Neslihan stands out with her tireless energy and warm smile — she’s like an “atomic ant” keeping everything running smoothly. All the staff members, too many to name individually, were hardworking, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. This is a hotel we’re already looking forward to visiting again next year!
"A nightmare."
We arrived at the hotel only to be told there was no room available for us and that we would have to wait until the next day. As a temporary solution, they offered us a room to share with strangers in a group of five — completely unacceptable. On the beach, the situation wasn’t any better. It wasn’t cleaned, tables were still dirty from the previous day, and getting drinks was nearly impossible as the waiters paid no attention to guests. Overall, we’re in shock at how poorly this stay has started.
"Wonderful week"
We had a fantastic and relaxing stay. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Food and drinks across all venues were excellent, and the service exceeded our expectations — everyone was friendly, polite, and always willing to help. The only issue we encountered was with the air conditioning. The rooms and general areas were uncomfortably warm, with hot air blowing from the AC. Despite reporting this several times, it took a few days for maintenance to resolve the problem. In the meantime, we had to leave our balcony door open to cool the room. On a positive note, the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel were stunning and created a truly festive atmosphere. Our dinner at Sofra was a highlight — the elegant setting and delicious food made for a beautiful experience. We would definitely stay here again when looking for a place to relax and unwind.
"Nice and quiet with plenty of space"
The hotel offers an incredible large pool, a very quiet location, spacious rooms, and comfortable mattresses. It’s also a plus that there are few children, making it ideal for a peaceful getaway. While the property feels a little dated, the food is excellent, with some recipes that seem thoughtfully crafted. The Meerbar area could use a modern touch, but the deck chairs are outstanding—massive, comfortable, and perfect for lounging. The evening entertainment, however, felt a bit lackluster, with overly traditional music and performances that lacked passion. The singers weren’t always top-notch, though there were two evenings when the acts were truly excellent.
"Great Hotel but filthy pool area."
This hotel has a lot going for it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the gym was excellent, and the rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. The poolside service was also fantastic, making it easy to relax throughout the day. However, the main issue—and the reason for this review—is the condition of the pool, which badly lets the hotel down. During my 7-day stay, the water appeared cloudy and far from clean. I never saw any staff cleaning the pool or conducting pH tests. The drains were visibly dirty, and algae were present around the entire pool area. Several poolside grid covers were broken or missing, creating a safety hazard, and we even found shards of green glass near our sunbeds. To make matters worse, drinks were being served in glassware, which seems risky around a pool area. Some umbrellas were also broken and in need of replacement. This is a hotel with great potential and many positives, but the pool area requires urgent attention. It’s a glaring issue that detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience.
"Pearl in Belek!"
This beautiful complex, designed in the style of an Ottoman palace, is truly a place to relax and enjoy. The food was excellent, and the beach service stood out—special thanks to Ms. Neslihan for her attentive care! H. Yussuf and H. Süleyman from the restaurant, as well as Mr. Cihan at the reception, also deserve special recognition for their outstanding service. The newly renovated spa is a dream, especially the Hammam and Recreation Area—thanks to H. Can for making the experience so memorable. At lunchtime, the Palm Bar service team seemed a little overwhelmed, and some Kyrgyz staff members didn’t respond in Turkish or English and often avoided eye contact, which felt unusual. Overall, this is a wonderful resort that offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and indulge.
"Review"
We had a wonderful stay at Kempinski The Dome in Belek. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. At the entrance, Ms. Damla welcomed us warmly and professionally, instantly making us feel at home. In the restaurant, Mr. Murat Doğan Yılmaz, Mr. Serkan, and Mr. Mehmet provided incredible hospitality—always attentive and helpful, which made every meal a delight. At the beach, Ms. Neslihan, Mr. Yasin, and Mr. Ümit stood out with their friendly attitude and prompt assistance. Their smiles and thoughtful service added so much comfort to our holiday. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to return!
"This time a little disappointed."
I first stayed at this hotel in 2022 and left a positive review. However, when I returned in September 2023, I was extremely disappointed with the service at the boats on the pier. The staff seemed clumsy and inattentive, often pretending not to notice guests. They claimed the call button wasn’t working, and there was little sense of urgency with orders. We had booked a cabana for the entire stay, and while the service was mostly available, it was lacking on a couple of days. The boats themselves are in need of an upgrade. The most shocking moment came when a thin staff member began shouting phrases like “Thank you, goodbye, please” – it felt highly inappropriate and unprofessional, though I’ll assume it was an isolated incident. On a positive note, I must commend a wonderful gentleman (a stocky man always wearing glasses) who manages the beach café and the pier bar. He was attentive, considerate, and truly made a difference. The staff in the main restaurant also deserve praise for their consistently good service. Aside from the issues at the pier, the hotel overall did not disappoint.
