"Overpriced for the Experience"

While the food is undeniably tasty, it didn’t quite live up to the hype or price tag. The sushi was fresh, but not noticeably better than what you can find at other good spots. The Wagyu in particular was disappointing—more like a sashimi slice than a proper meat dish, especially for the cost. If you're looking for value for money, this may not be the best option. Great quality, yes—but not outstanding enough to justify the premium price.

"Unforgettable Culinary Experience – Worth Every Cent"

An absolutely incredible and unforgettable experience from start to finish. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding — everything from tuna to mackerel and eel was prepared with exceptional precision and care. What made the evening even more special was the impeccable service — warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Yes, it comes at a premium, but if you're looking for a truly memorable meal, this place delivers in every way. Can’t wait to come back — once the wallet recovers! 😄

"Solid Experience, But Missing the Wow Factor"

The concept of pairing a cooked dish with a sushi piece from the same fish is certainly creative and well-executed, but for me, it lacked the innovation or surprise I was hoping for at this level. While everything was technically excellent and very enjoyable, it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression. If you're a first-timer, it's definitely worth experiencing once — especially at the bar, where the interaction adds charm and intimacy. Sitting at the secluded tables, on the other hand, loses some of that special atmosphere. Glad I tried it, but I likely wouldn’t return.

"An Unforgettable Culinary Journey Around the World"

A truly unique and memorable experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and immersive, the product quality exceptional, and the service absolutely flawless — attentive without being intrusive. We chose the “23 Countries” tasting menu with wine pairing, and it exceeded every expectation. Each dish offered a beautifully crafted story and flavor profile, making it feel like a global culinary adventure on a plate. The pairings were thoughtful and elevated the experience even further. We would gladly return — this is the kind of dining that stays with you long after the last bite. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore creativity and excellence in fine dining.

"Excellent Mid-Range Menu with a Few Highlights"

I’ll say it again: the mid-range tasting menu is very good and well worth it. While not every dish hits the mark — the broad beans, for example, felt a bit underwhelming — there are definite standouts. The nigiri selection is impressive, and the eel nigiri in particular is spectacular, full of flavor and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is carefully curated and adds to the experience. A small tip: go early for lunch. If you arrive later, you might feel a bit rushed as the staff begins clearing up while you’re still enjoying your meal. All in all, a refined and thoughtful dining experience with a few brilliant highlights.

"A Refined Experience with Minor Shortcomings"

Overall, the experience was very good—the dishes were exquisitely prepared, and the service was professional and polite. However, a few details held it back from being a perfect 5-star evening. The pace between courses was occasionally slow, which slightly affected the rhythm of the meal. We also found the tasting menu a bit repetitive, with certain flavors and formats overlapping. The Wagyu supplement, while delicious, felt underwhelming as it applied to just one small dish. We were seated in a separate dining room, which meant missing out on the unique open-kitchen atmosphere—something we were looking forward to. It would’ve added a layer of excitement to the experience. Also, we were surprised the chef didn’t greet or check in with the guests, a detail often expected in fine dining to elevate the personal touch. That said, the quality of the food and the overall ambiance were excellent. A few tweaks, and this could be an unforgettable experience.

"Disappointing Return After Remodel"

Unfortunately, I left disappointed. After the remodeling and noticeable price increase, the overall experience no longer matches the cost. It's disheartening to see that what used to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in Barcelona has lost its essence. The quality and attention to detail that once set it apart just aren't the same anymore. A sad reality for a place that once set the standard.

"Great Service, Good Food — But Missing the Final Touch"

The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout our meal, which we truly appreciated. However, there was a noticeable lack of consistency in dish explanations — some servers gave more detail than others, which affected the overall experience. In terms of food, the portions were well-balanced — we left satisfied. Standout dishes included the imperial caviar, saba, ika shiokara 1987, ikejime bogavante, ikura, toro and eel nigiri. The spiced ice cream with licorice made for a creative and memorable dessert. That said, not every dish was as harmonious or well-executed. A bigger issue was witnessing the chef discard and still serve caviar that had been shaped with a spoon on two of the four plates next to us. In a high-end restaurant where attention to detail is everything, this was disappointing. A mostly enjoyable experience, but small missteps held it back from being truly exceptional.

"Disappointing Experience for the Price Paid"

We chose the medium menu at €218 (24 pieces), expecting a premium dining experience, but were left underwhelmed. Only one item stood out as truly delicious—the rest ranged from average to forgettable. At this price point, we expected consistent excellence across the board. What added to the frustration was that water wasn’t included. For such an expensive menu, this felt unnecessarily stingy, especially when water is a basic expectation in fine dining. On a positive note, the staff were attentive and the ambiance was cozy, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to justify the high cost. Overall, we left disappointed and cannot recommend this experience. It felt like poor value for the money spent.

"Perfect Experience – 10/10!"

Without a doubt, this was a 10/10 experience in every way. The food was exceptional, made with top-quality ingredients that truly stood out. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special thank you to Felipe, who took the time to explain each dish to us in Italian—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable. We’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommended!
