"Great Trip but Poor Communication and Website Issues for Non-Czech Speakers"

I had a good trip with Leo Express — the journey itself was definitely a 5-star experience. However, as a tourist who doesn’t speak the local language, booking and understanding the ticketing process was very difficult. The website didn’t work properly in English, and I had to rely on Google Translate to complete the booking. What I thought was the ticket (not in English) ended up in my junk mail, flagged as containing a virus. On the bus, the staff couldn’t help explain the ticket situation, and on the train, the document I had wasn’t valid as a ticket. Since the train was running late, staff hurried us onboard and treated us with visible distrust, which was unpleasant. Fortunately, I eventually found the correct email (also flagged as a virus) that worked as a valid ticket. Suggestion to Leo Express: Please make your website fully functional in English, ensure your emails are safe and not flagged as malicious, and train your staff to handle such cases with more understanding. If these improvements are made, I’d be happy to change this review to 5 stars.

"Disappointing Service Experience on Leo Express"

I had a very disappointing experience on my Leo Express trip from Ostrava-Svinov to Praha-Libeň on 23-06-2025. While the staff offered water and took orders from everyone around me, they completely ignored me—even after I directly asked for service. This felt disrespectful and unprofessional, especially since I had a great experience on the same route just a week earlier. Unfortunately, this incident has made me reconsider choosing Leo Express in the future.

"Unfair Treatment on Leo Express Train LE1261"

We were very disappointed with the staff’s service attitude on our Leo Express journey (Train No. LE1261). The attendants distributed free water to everyone around us except to us, which made us feel ignored and slighted. Such unequal treatment left a negative impression and greatly diminished our travel experience.

"Comfortable Service but Poor Scheduling and Noisy Passengers Spoiled the Trip"

The Leo Express journey from Krk to Prague was comfortable overall, but there were major issues with scheduling and passenger management. The company sells tickets showing a set travel time without accounting for the long 75-minute stop in Bohumín — something that happens on every trip. This delay is not reflected in the schedule and only gets updated the day before departure, making it too late to cancel or request a refund. On the return trip, the train already started with a 20-minute delay. While the onboard service itself was excellent — the staff were polite, professional, and the catering was of very good quality — the experience was marred by a group of rowdy passengers heading to a stag party. They were loud and disruptive throughout the night, making it impossible for anyone in the carriage to rest. The train staff handled the situation as best as they could, but it was clear they were powerless to control such behavior. In summary, Leo Express still offers great onboard comfort and service, but poor scheduling transparency and lack of enforcement for disruptive passengers make the journey far less pleasant than it should be.

"Worst Experience Ever – They Refused to Refund My Money!"

They are total frauds. They take people’s money in the name of “credit.” My honest advice: never use them. I bought a ticket using my card, and after cancellation, they converted my refund into “credit”! Their refund policy clearly states that if you pay by card, the refund should go back to your bank account (with a small penalty fee). When I contacted them, they refused to return my money, saying the credit will stay in my account forever for future use—completely ridiculous! I’ve already taken legal action against them and won’t give up until justice is served.

"Great Comfort and Service, but Frequent Delays Hold Leo Express Back"

Leo Express remains my favorite carrier, and I use it regularly whenever possible. The trains are comfortable and well-designed — the new seats are excellent, complete with two drawers underneath and large windows that offer beautiful views throughout the trip. The only downside is the rather small toilet. I also appreciate the cashback system; for frequent travelers, it’s a great way to save money, often covering part of the next journey. The staff are usually friendly and professional — I’ve had consistently good experiences, except for one occasion when I had to ask for water. Ticket prices can vary based on demand, but booking early can make the trip surprisingly affordable, especially with student discounts. However, the company struggles with punctuality. In recent months, delays have become more frequent, which can be frustrating for passengers on tight schedules. Another drawback is the refund policy — cancellations are refunded only in Leo credits, which may not suit first-time travelers. If not for the recurring delays, Leo Express would easily deserve five stars. Despite this issue, it remains a cost-effective and comfortable choice for regular travelers.

"Very Disappointing Experience – Dirty Seats and Poor Service on Train LE1262"

After several years of positive experiences with Leo Express, I’m really disappointed by today’s trip to Prague on train LE1262. Several seats (like A209, A213, etc.) were filthy, as if someone had stood on them with muddy boots. It was impossible to sit without getting dirty. The steward refused to help, and customer service didn’t care either. Sadly, Leo Express has become worse in quality and more expensive than ČD. Very disappointing — R.I.P. Leo Express, never again with this dirty economy class.
