"Quirky modern boutique style hotel that is well positioned to explore the beautiful city of Rome."

I stayed at Leon's Place from 8–11 September 2025. The hotel has a quirky, modern boutique style and is ideally located for exploring the beautiful city of Rome. It offers excellent value, is spotlessly clean, and the staff are highly professional and attentive. A wonderful stay!

"A great place to stay"

Although not right in the heart of all the attractions, Leon’s Place is in a very good part of Rome, about a 10-minute walk from Termini station, which offers transfer buses to both of Rome’s airports. Our ground-level room (No. 3) only had a skylight in the ceiling, which wasn’t an issue since we spent little time in the room. It was quiet, spotless, and stylish, with clever use of mirrors that maximized the light from the skylight and made the room feel airy and bright. A pod coffee machine was provided, but if you like tea, bring your own tea bags and use the boiling water button; extra milk sachets are useful too. Robes and slippers were provided, adding a touch of luxury. The spa is lovely for unwinding after a long day exploring Rome. Be sure to book your hour slot early. Note that the spa and gym are separated only by a curtain, so booking both areas at the same time gives you more privacy. The hotel also provided a power bank for my phone, which was extremely helpful for navigating the city and taking photos. The staff were always friendly and helpful, with a special thanks to Danielle, who assisted us on our last day after we had checked out, allowing us to store our bags and use facilities to freshen up before our flight. All in all, a very enjoyable stay at Leon’s Place—stylish, comfortable, and attentive service throughout.

"Convenient place to stay in Rome."

A nice hotel in Rome, just a few minutes’ walk from the Metro, providing easy access to all the main tourist attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small and could use some maintenance.

"Great hotel, clean, courtesy, convenient location."

A great hotel located within walking distance from Termini station—a pleasant stroll even with light luggage. The property is very clean, and the staff are exceptionally courteous and helpful. In the room, there’s a coffee maker and a Nespresso-style machine, which I greatly enjoyed. The only drawback was the breakfast croissants—they were frozen. In Rome, fresh croissants are a delight, and it’s a shame that a hotel of this caliber didn’t offer them. PS: I was hosted, so I cannot comment on the price-quality ratio. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with attentive service and convenient location.

"Very Good Hotel in the heart of Rome"

A lovely hotel just a ten-minute walk from Termini. The staff were very attentive and professional. The hotel features a small spa area that can be booked, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was excellent. My only minor disappointment was breakfast; while generally good for Rome, the hot food and fresh fruit quality declined closer to 10:30 am.

"Wonderful stay 10 mins from Rome CC, would recommend!"

We’ve just returned from a truly wonderful stay at Leon’s Place in Rome. We were visiting Italy for the first time for my wife’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a lovely personal note and a bottle of fizz upon arrival—such a thoughtful touch! This hotel is a fantastic little find, located about 10–15 minutes’ walk from the main tourist attractions. Airport taxis are fixed at €55, making transfers straightforward. We were warmly greeted by Matilde, who I had been corresponding with via email in the weeks prior to our trip. Her response times were exceptional—literally within minutes every time we wrote. Leon's Place has a private wellness centre for guests, which can be booked free of charge. It includes a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room—we enjoyed a relaxing hour there during our stay. Our room was lovely, featuring perhaps the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. While some noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable, it didn’t bother us. The room also included a mini-bar and Sky TV, which was perfect for catching football matches. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, though the spread looked impressive with plenty of variety. For breakfast, we went to a nearby café, Vero, just five minutes away, which served amazing pancakes, pastries, and other breakfast treats. Don’t miss the nearby Gelateria De Roma—it’s always busy, chaotic even, but the gelato is well worth the wait! Overall, we would return in a heartbeat. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely courtyard and restaurant area—perfect spots to relax, even if we didn’t use them much.

"It’s missing a bit."

The decor of the common areas of the hotel is a little overloaded, but the rooms are very good; of course, the bathrooms can improve because the water leaks a little. Breakfast is a bit fair. The staff is friendly, and a but you have to reserve the gym. Very close to termini.

"Returning next time."

This hotel comes highly recommended! The staff is stellar, the accommodations were the best of my three-city trip, and the location is ideal—within walking distance of great sights, yet on a street with a comfortable Uber drop-off and pick-up. Housekeeping was both respectful and thorough, even returning to my room after I had been out late to ensure everything was in order. With its artistic flair and thoughtfully arranged breakfast, this hotel is not only a perfect base for exploring Rome but also a serene retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.

"Good not great"

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was on the smaller side, with slightly too much furniture for the space, but it was dark, quiet, and the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was acceptable, though not spotless. Reserving time for the gym was a bit inconvenient.

"Pleasant and comfortable hotel"

A very pleasant and comfortable stay! The staff, especially the receptionists and barman, were helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom with a great shower. The hotel’s location is ideal—close enough to Rome’s main sights, yet quiet at night. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a nice variety in a charming cellar restaurant. We would be happy to stay here again and gladly recommend it to others visiting Rome.
