"Great Location but Poor Service and Tiny Rooms"
The hotel has friendly staff and a convenient location. However, breakfast was extremely limited, with only one a la carte option, and the coffee was instant. The rooms are very small and have poor acoustics. I do not recommend this hotel.
"Affordable Hotel Close to Plaza de Armas"
We stayed two nights in a third-floor room. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean, though quite small and oddly shaped, making it difficult to move around and store suitcases. The bathroom smelled slightly of sewer unless the door was closed, and the shower water pressure was low. Noise from nearby Plaza de Armas and thin walls between rooms could be an issue, but the bathroom looked modern, and unlimited drinking water was available. A boxed breakfast for an early departure was appreciated. Considering the low price and excellent location, this hotel can be a good choice depending on your priorities.

Wow—what a fantastic place to stay! Everything is top-notch: excellent customer service, cozy rooms with all essentials, and an outstanding breakfast with accommodating staff. Housekeeping is thorough, and the location is perfect—close to everything. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again and again!

The staff at Los Tambos went above and beyond to accommodate us. The location and amenities are great, but the service truly sets this hotel apart! Despite our official check-in being at 2 p.m., they moved reservations to get us a room by 9 a.m. without us asking. They also helped us compile paperwork for our Bolivia visas. Highly recommended!

This hotel is perfectly located in the old city center. The receptionists were extremely helpful, providing an early 2 a.m. breakfast to-go and arranging a taxi to the airport.

Beautiful accommodation, made with sillar. Spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, shower with excellent water flow, glass shower enclosure, and bathtub. Exceptional breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location, 6 minutes from the square.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was small but very clean with quality linens and towels. The hotel was generally quiet, and the free breakfast was tasty. What truly makes it stand out is the staff—they are friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The rooftop deck offers a great view of the volcano, and the hotel is less than two minutes from Plaza de Armas. Highly recommended!
