"Lub d Bangkok Siam"

Electro Hotels at Lub d Bangkok Siam is stylish, picturesque, relaxing, and well-known. We stayed in a Private Room that came with a TV, private bathroom, and access to the dormitory. The property offers plenty of entertainment, from the movie room to the game zone, making it easy to enjoy downtime. For those planning to explore the neighborhood, the location is also excellent. Overall, we think it’s a great choice.

"Good location make sure you matched the hotel style."

This hotel is in a fantastic location, with the BTS station right in front and everything you need in Bangkok just a short walk away. The staff are friendly, lively, and always helpful. As long as you appreciate the hotel’s unique style, you’re sure to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay here.

"Centrally located"

The hotel is located right next to the train station and within walking distance to major shopping malls in Bangkok. There’s also a 7-Eleven conveniently next door. While the location was a bit tricky for our cab driver to find, the room itself was really comfortable. Since we chose a budget room type, we had a shared bathroom, but overall, the stay was pleasant and convenient.

"Very Average"

I stayed here last July and was impressed considering the price, though overall it felt quite average compared to my other travel experiences. The lobby had plenty of entertainment, which was a nice touch. The room itself was a bit small but still manageable. Overall, it was just an average stay for me.

"Convenient hostel, clean, well located"

I had a pretty good stay at Lub D Siam. The location is unbeatable — the skytrain is right in front of the hostel, with malls, street food, and even a ferry to the Golden Mount just a block away. Getting around from here is very easy. The staff were very nice and helpful, especially when recommending places to eat. The room and bathroom were fairly clean, though I will note that the actual rooms feel a bit more worn and outdated compared to the website photos, giving a somewhat basic or “prison-like” vibe. The hostel offers convenient facilities like a grab-and-go counter, washers, dryers, and ironing stations, all at reasonable fees. However, keep in mind that items at 7-Eleven (right next door) are usually cheaper, and the lockers don’t come with locks — you’ll need to bring your own or buy one at reception. Overall, the mixed 4-person dorm was comfortable and never too crowded. The bathrooms were clean and functional. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I’d likely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok.

"Tourism"

This hotel offers great value for the price, with everything you need kept clean and sufficient for a comfortable stay. The staff provide good service, and the location couldn’t be better—BTS is right across the street, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. With major attractions nearby, it’s both convenient and affordable. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

"Great Location, Great Staff, Wish it had a lift though"

I stayed here for 4 nights during Songkran week. The location is excellent — right beside the National Stadium train station and within walking distance of MBK, Siam Paragon, Siam Square, and Siam Discovery. The room was clean, and the shared showers/toilets were well maintained, though some guests left the floor wet. The hotel has an open-air corridor setup, which provides airflow but also allows in a lot of noise from the main road and train station. Facilities include a theater room for movies and co-working spaces if you need to get work done. Breakfast, provided by TokioJo Restaurant, is simple with only 3 set options. I tried them all during my stay. The restaurant also serves meals and drinks throughout the day. Staff were great — they let me check in early at 11am, answered all my questions, and housekeeping kept the shared bathrooms clean daily. The TokioJo staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The biggest drawback is the lack of a lift. My room was on the 4th floor, and after long days walking for Songkran festivities, climbing the stairs with my bad knee became very painful. It even discouraged me from going out once I got back to my room. If you have mobility issues, this is definitely something to consider. Overall, the hotel is convenient and well-located, with friendly staff and decent facilities. But the absence of an elevator was a real downside for me, and I would think twice about booking again for that reason.

"Great location but setup needs some rethinking! Cigarette smoke problems."

I stayed here for two nights at the end of my trip to Thailand and chose a private room to rest and prepare for travel. The room itself had everything I needed, and overall, I was satisfied. However, the hostel’s layout felt poorly arranged. The laundry area is right next to the smoking area, which means clean clothes quickly pick up smoke. With limited options, I had to hang my clothes behind the building—with the kind help of staff—but it felt awkward. The smoking area is also placed in a central indoor spot where many doors open into, making it difficult to avoid. Since I was sick with a cough at the time, this was particularly uncomfortable. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent with easy access to train stations. With some improvements, this could be a great stay, but for now, I’d suggest considering other nearby options.

"Very clean"

I stayed here with my boyfriend for our first night in Bangkok, and it was the perfect choice. The place is very clean and cozy, and we immediately felt safe and comfortable. The air conditioning in the room worked really well, which was such a relief given how intense the heat was outside. On top of that, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even better.

"Close to trains, shopping centres but noisy location"

The hotel is in a convenient location, but the noise from the main road is quite disruptive—you’ll definitely need earplugs to sleep well. There’s also no elevator, so climbing the stairs can get tiring. I’ve stayed at the Lab d in Silom as well, and I found it to be better since it’s quieter and the bedroom layout feels more spacious.

Lub d Bangkok Siam Hostel

Popular hostel chain near National Stadium BTS. Social vibe with a bar and lounge. Excellent location for shopping and nightlife.
