"Aceptable room, bad service"
We booked a room directly online with the hotel. The photos looked beautiful, but upon arrival, we were first given a different room that smelled terrible. After speaking with reception, they moved us to another room that matched the online photos, which was much better. The room itself was tidy and clean, equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and even offered a beautiful view of the palace. Unfortunately, the service didn’t meet expectations. Some staff members came across as rude, and the hotel lacked basic amenities like a simple tourist map of the city, which almost every hotel, hostel, or backpacker place usually provides.
"Dirty neighborhood and dirty room"
The hotel looks recently renovated, and the room was decent and clean upon arrival. However, it was never properly cleaned again during my stay—the housekeeper only made the bed each day, leaving the floor dirty and the bathroom unpleasant after four days. The neighborhood caters mostly to backpackers, so it was noisy and had a strong unpleasant smell.
"Ok for couple of nights only!"
We’re a Scottish couple on a budget 3-week island-hopping trip, with Bangkok as our first 2-night stop. The reception staff were absolutely lovely, and while the hotel itself is quite small, it was totally fine for what we needed. The rooms, however, are extremely tiny—really, really small—but realistically, we don’t spend much time in the room anyway. On the plus side, the shower was fantastic, and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. The main downside was the noise. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, as the cleaners start early (around 5–6am) and can easily be heard in the hallways. The location is convenient, but Bangkok itself—especially the central streets around the hotel—felt dirty and smelly, which made us realize how lucky we are back in the UK. Overall, it was fine for a short stop, but we wouldn’t return.
"Dirty floors, ok situated"
Hotel was well situated, next to Khao San road but still very quiet.. Unless you have your earplugs during the night. Our room was right next to the elevator, and we could hear all the noises from the hallway. Room was ok, but the floor was very dirty and they did not clean it at all during our stay. All other things in the room was ok and clean. But since I have read many comments about the dirtyness of their floors, it was a huge surprise that this was still not handeled by management. Windows were not clear, only blur glas. If you are a vegetarian/vegan, their breakfast is pretty poor.
"It was Ok"
The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was absolutely perfect. For the price, this hotel delivered more than we expected. Breakfast was simple—two small pieces of bread, two eggs, some fruit, and a glass of juice—but it was free and perfectly fine to start the day. We even arrived a bit earlier than check-in time and had no issues getting our room, which was a nice surprise. The only downside was the bathroom, which unfortunately had a strong sewer smell. Other than that, it was a great value stay.
"Basic place"
I stayed one night in a windowless room. There was a slight mildew smell and limited furniture, but it was manageable. The Wi-Fi was slow, and the small elevator was only for luggage (you’ll need to ask staff how to use it). No free drinking water was provided in the room. The bed was okay, but there was only one wall plug, used by the TV, so I had to unplug it to charge my devices—definitely more outlets are needed. The street outside is noisy at night, and there are taxi and tuk-tuk drivers across the road 24/7 who can be overly aggressive and overcharge. Best to avoid them and use Bangkok’s public transit instead.
"Not bad. But not necessarily great either"
I stayed here for five nights. The place was clean, the showers were terrific, and the bed was comfortable. However, there was a lot of noise both at night and during the day, which made it hard to relax. Getting the staff to make up the room was difficult—the sheets were only changed once, and that was after I repeatedly requested it. It’s a relatively new property in a great location, but overall not a very good value for the price they charge.
"Very poor"
Apart from the location, there isn’t much positive to say about this property. The rooms are very basic with no real facilities, the beds are uncomfortable, and some rooms don’t even have windows. The reception area is tiny, and the slow elevator is only for luggage. Noise at night made it difficult to rest. If you can, I would recommend staying somewhere else.
