"Delicious Food and Impeccable Service, But Pricey"

This restaurant truly delivers on flavor — the dishes were both creative and delicious while maintaining a beautiful simplicity. We also really enjoyed the drinks, which were thoughtfully crafted and complemented the meal perfectly. The space itself is stunning, offering a refined and inviting ambiance, even if it’s located in a less-than-charming neighborhood. Service was absolutely top-notch — attentive, professional, and friendly throughout. The only drawback was the pricing, which felt a bit outlandish for what was offered. Still, if you're willing to splurge, the overall experience is memorable and well worth a visit.

"Sublime Culinary Experience Worth Returning For"

The food here is truly exceptional — delicate, thoughtful, and rooted in seasonal ingredients, each dish manages to surprise and surpass expectations in the most delightful ways. The setting is relaxed and informal, creating a comfortable atmosphere that lets the food shine without pretense. Service is another standout: attentive, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the dining experience. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit.

"Tasty Dishes, But a Few Drawbacks"

Overall, the food was fine — I particularly enjoyed the pork chop and mussels. However, the broth with the mussels was overly salty, tasting more like straight soy sauce, which was a letdown. The restaurant offers an intimate dining atmosphere, which is nice, but the lighting is so dim it makes taking decent photos nearly impossible. A good meal, but with a few rough edges.

"Disappointing Experience at a Highly-Rated Restaurant"

This restaurant, despite its Michelin star and #36 spot on the World's 50 Best list, felt overrated to me. The décor is casual and unpretentious, which is increasingly common in fine dining and perfectly acceptable. However, the food itself was underwhelming — fresh ingredients, yes, but lacking in creativity and flavor. The single tasting menu is quite short, which wouldn't be a problem if each course stood out, but unfortunately they didn’t. The most surprising letdown was the handling of dietary preferences. One member of our party doesn’t like anchovies — something most fine dining establishments would accommodate with a substitution. Instead, the restaurant simply skipped the course altogether without offering an alternative or explanation. That kind of indifference doesn’t reflect well on an establishment of this caliber. Overall, a disappointing experience that didn’t live up to the acclaim.

"Great Spot in Shoreditch with Excellent Service and an Intriguing Wine List"

This restaurant in Shoreditch is a good find, though booking can be a bit challenging. The service was excellent and genuinely friendly, which made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. They offer only set menu options, including pescatarian and vegan choices, catering well to different dietary preferences. Overall, it was a good experience, though I found the flavors a bit heavy and leaning towards the sweet side. On the bright side, the wine list is very fun and interesting, clearly reflecting a lot of thoughtful curation. A solid choice if you’re in the area and can snag a reservation.
