"Great location and professional service"
I had a wonderful two-day stay with absolutely no issues. The location is perfect, just a short walk from downtown and the riverside, making it easy to enjoy the city. We took a lovely walk along the entire riverside area, which was beautiful and relaxing. Although there was a mix-up with my room type at first, the manager, Mr. Soksan, handled it professionally and generously, quickly resolving the issue. I also want to mention Miss Vichamean at the front desk, who was always warm, welcoming, and kind, making me feel truly at home throughout my stay. Overall, it was a great experience thanks to the excellent location and exceptional service. I would definitely stay here again!
"An amazing hotel but safeguarding and welfare needs consideration and improvement"
As many reviews note, this is a fantastic hotel offering excellent value for money. Its central location in Siem Reap makes it easy to walk to the town’s key features, and Tuk Tuk trips to the temples are convenient and affordable. The hotel’s ambience and decor are lovely, but what truly stands out is the dedicated service provided by the staff, which is exceptional, even by Cambodia’s high standards of hospitality. However, I must raise a serious concern. During our stay, we observed disturbing activity involving two older Western male tourists and two young Cambodian men, which appeared to involve exploitation. The conversations were loud and worrying, and it was clear that at least one of the young men was upset and distressed. While this may not have been illegal, it was clearly exploitative and extremely concerning to other guests. I strongly urge hotel management to implement safeguarding measures to protect vulnerable individuals and prevent such exploitation on the property. Awareness, training, and clear policies can help ensure the welfare and safety of all guests. Summary: Wonderful hotel with great staff, but management should take steps to prevent and address any risk of exploitation among guests.
"A magical and memorable experience!"
We had an absolutely magical experience at Lynnaya! The riverside location was perfect — central, peaceful, and within easy walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, creating the perfect retreat after a day exploring Siem Reap. But what truly made our stay special were the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. A very special thank you to Vichamean (Mean), who went above and beyond to help when our daughter was unwell — her kindness and compassion meant so much to us. This hotel is centrally located in Siem Reap, within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. During our stay, it was right at the heart of the Khmer New Year celebrations, which added a lively and festive atmosphere. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Angkor Wat, making it convenient for sightseeing excursions. After a day exploring the temples, it was lovely to relax in the swimming pool or enjoy drinks at the rooftop bar, which offers a pleasant view and atmosphere. Summary: Great central location, convenient for both celebrations and sightseeing, with enjoyable pool and rooftop amenities.

The bathroom facilities are clean, with a hot shower and all the necessary amenities. Guests can enjoy a tasty and varied buffet breakfast each morning, as well as the rooftop bar, which serves a great selection of cocktails. The pool area is relaxing and perfect for unwinding after sightseeing. The hotel is conveniently located close to local shops and the market, making it easy to explore the area. We’ve stayed here multiple times and honestly wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Siem Reap. The front-of-house team, led by Soksan and Mean, are exceptional — always friendly, professional, and fluent in English. They go above and beyond to assist with anything, from making restaurant reservations to helping set up Netflix on the TV. If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and truly special place to stay in Siem Reap, we highly recommend Lynnaya. It’s a hotel that feels like home every time we return.

We had a fantastic stay at Lynnaya Urban River Resort & Spa, which offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The resort is conveniently located within walking distance of Pub Street and the Night Market, making it easy to explore Siem Reap. The service was exceptional—prompt, courteous, and always attentive to our needs. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the Bungalow Suite with an outdoor tub. While there were a few minor maintenance issues (loose outdoor tub nozzle, loose shower handle slot, and some water spillage on the balcony), the staff promptly resolved them, reflecting their dedication to guest satisfaction. The resort features a beautiful swimming pool with a poolside bar, ideal for relaxation. The spa is excellent and highly recommended, while the rooftop bar provides a great ambiance with live music on weekends—perfect for unwinding in the evening. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, Lynnaya Urban River Resort & Spa combines comfort, excellent service, and outstanding facilities, making it a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting Siem Reap.

We had great food and excellent service during our stay! Special thanks to Phalla and the team — Mat, Lysa, Thy, and Nak — for making our meals memorable. The mango salad and fish dishes were absolutely delicious. We’re so glad to be staying at this resort and thoroughly enjoying every moment!
