"Undoubtedly sexy with great service"
I truly wish I could give this hotel five stars, because so much of it was exceptional — and most of my mixed feelings are through no fault of the staff. The décor is absolutely stunning, with an atmosphere that exudes sensuality and sophistication. The staff were wonderfully attentive and helpful, offering great restaurant and activity recommendations. The salon was private and relaxing, the cocktails expertly crafted, and the whiskey selection impressive. The bar team were knowledgeable and charming, and the room itself was beautifully designed — the perfect setting for romance. Unfortunately, sleeping proved difficult. Despite a comfortable bed, the noise from the surrounding neighborhood — filled with late-night revelers shouting well into the early hours — made rest nearly impossible, as the windows didn’t block out the sound effectively. Additionally, while everything appeared very clean, there was a faint smell of mold in the bathroom and spa steam room. It’s clear that the hotel staff put a lot of effort into creating a luxurious and memorable experience, and in many ways, they succeed. With some improvements to soundproofing and maintenance, it could easily deserve a full five stars.
"Maison Magnificent!"
What a fantastic hotel — staying here feels like stepping back into the elegant world of Zola. From the moment we arrived, we were wonderfully cared for by the attentive staff, especially the excellent William, whose warmth and professionalism made our stay even more special. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Moulin Rouge and the enchanting Montmartre district. After a full day of exploring, the swimming pool in the basement was an absolute delight for the whole family — a serene retreat to unwind and recharge. Maison Souquet is truly a gem of Parisian charm and sophistication. I couldn’t recommend it more highly — simply magnifique!
"Extraordinary Boutique Hotel"
We spent five wonderful nights at this extraordinary boutique hotel, and it was truly a fantastic choice. Perfectly situated in an edgy, modern part of Paris, the location offers easy access to a vibrant mix of trendy cocktail bars and ever-evolving, on-point dining spots. The service throughout our stay was impeccable — warm, professional, and highly personalized, making us feel genuinely cared for. This stylish hotel perfectly blends contemporary Parisian flair with comfort and sophistication. We loved every moment and will most definitely return.
"One of a Kind Experience"
From start to finish, our experience at Maison Souquet was nothing short of incredible. The team provided exceptional service from the moment we booked — assisting with our stay, local attractions, and reservations — all the way through to our departure. Their attentiveness, client-focused care, and meticulous attention to detail were truly unmatched. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and felt like VIP guests throughout our stay. The hotel’s décor and atmosphere are a perfect blend of boutique elegance, warmth, and Parisian charm. The bar is absolutely stunning — only surpassed by the impeccable service. Our room was beautifully designed, exuding sophistication, romance, and style. The private pool access offered an exclusive and unforgettable experience. A special thank-you to Andy, who went above and beyond by personally ensuring our dinner reservations at a popular restaurant. Maison Souquet made our three days in Paris truly extraordinary — we can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return.
"Romantic hide away for a short break"
A truly special and beautifully decorated hotel, ideal for a romantic getaway. The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, making it perfect for couples seeking a memorable stay. The bar has a lovely ambiance, though the cocktails didn’t quite meet expectations, and the breakfast was somewhat underwhelming. The spa, while pleasant in concept, wasn’t particularly impressive and could be enhanced to match the hotel’s charm. A few thoughtful touches — such as higher-quality food and drinks or amenities like a Bluetooth speaker in the rooms — would elevate the experience even further. Overall, a charming and romantic hotel that shines in style, but leaves a bit of room for improvement in service and offerings.
"A gem in the heart of Paris"
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maison Souquet. Perfectly located within easy reach of the Metro, Gare du Nord, and all major attractions, it offered both convenience and charm. The hotel exudes a captivating atmosphere, enhanced by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The private spa was a serene haven — an ideal place to unwind after exploring the city. Our room (Cleo) was exquisitely decorated, perfectly reflecting the luxurious and romantic spirit of the hotel. Despite its central location, it was remarkably peaceful and quiet, allowing for complete relaxation. We cannot recommend Maison Souquet highly enough — a truly exceptional and unforgettable hotel experience.
"boutique hotel in pigalle"
A beautiful Parisian hotel with lovely, well-decorated rooms that are small but exquisitely ornate and very comfortable. The service was excellent throughout our stay — attentive, friendly, and professional. The pool area, while unique, was a bit unusual; the water was quite cold, and the air felt very hot, almost like a sauna, which made it less inviting for lounging. The location, tucked away in Pigalle, felt slightly off the main tourist path but still offered plenty of local charm and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, it’s a delightful and affordable boutique hotel — compact, elegant, and perfect for those seeking an authentic Parisian experience without unnecessary frills.
"Lovely hotel, AMAZING hotel staff"
A truly lovely hotel — beautifully designed with charming, snug rooms that feel warm and inviting. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the unbelievable staff. When we faced a stressful situation with the roads to the airport blocked by a strike, the hotel didn’t just offer advice — they helped us create a plan and even sent someone from the hotel to accompany us to ensure we reached our destination safely. I rarely write reviews, but the level of care and dedication from the team compelled me to share this. The service here is nothing short of exceptional.
"Paris’s Best Kept Bougie Secret"
If Paris is the city of romance, then Maison Souquet is its sultry little love letter. I stayed here in July, and honestly, I’m still not over it. This isn’t just a hotel — it’s like stepping into a decadent Parisian dream, rich with history and atmosphere that seems to linger in its velvet-lined walls. Everything about the place oozes allure: the moody lighting, the sumptuous fabrics, and that irresistible “I’ve stumbled upon a secret” feeling. It’s luxuriously bougie yet never pretentious, each corner telling its own whispered story from another time. The staff were impeccable — friendly, attentive, and effortlessly charming. They made me feel like the only guest in the hotel. My room wasn’t huge, but it was pure perfection in design and comfort, wrapped in Maison Souquet’s signature sensual style. The location couldn’t be better — just steps away from the Moulin Rouge, yet tucked far enough to feel intimate and peaceful. Surrounded by fantastic restaurants, cozy wine bars, and timeless Parisian cafés, it’s the ideal base to fall in love with the city all over again.
"Feast for the senses"
Wow—just wow. I’ve stayed in several small luxury 5-star hotels in central London, including one in Soho, but none have come close to the magic of this divine establishment. Every corner was a feast for the senses — visually stunning, beautifully scented throughout, and filled with the warm sounds of genuinely friendly staff who even remembered my plans for the day when I returned. The late-night bar was a delight, and my magnificent Chinese-themed room (402) was both elegant and serene. The bed and duvet were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s rest. Surprisingly, it was also far more affordable than many 5-star hotels in Paris. A special thank-you to the owner for the thoughtful welcome note — a small gesture that truly shows how much they care.
