Majestic Hôtel‑Spa

"One of the Best Hotels in Paris"
Normally, we stay at the sister hotel Raphael, but with it under remodeling, we chose Majestic—and it did not disappoint. The hotel truly deserves its 5-star rating, offering a perfect combination of prime location, peaceful ambiance, attentive service, and high-quality accommodations. An excellent choice for a luxurious Parisian stay!
"Great location – ac problems – mediocre breakfast – boring service"
The hotel is visually stunning, with large rooms, a well-equipped gym, and a nice pool. We appreciated the ability to book adjoining rooms for our kids, which made the stay convenient. However, the air conditioning in our rooms didn’t work properly, and the temporary solution of loud fans was insufficient, especially during Paris’ heat. There was no follow-up from staff to check if it improved our stay. Breakfast was mandatory and non-refundable, which was frustrating as we had to leave early on our last day. The bar felt unwelcoming, and the staff there lacked attentiveness. While the property has potential, and our past experience at the sister Hotel Raphael was very positive, this stay did not meet typical 5-star expectations, particularly regarding service, comfort, and dining options.
"Our stay in Paris"
The hotel is ideally situated on a very quiet street, offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, while the staff were consistently attentive and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of hot and cold items to choose from. Overall, a highly enjoyable stay—we would gladly return in the future.
"Below average breakfast"
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with convenient amenities such as a coffee machine and Earl Grey tea. However, breakfast was underwhelming, lacking healthy options and variety beyond basic offerings. In the evening, there are no herbal tea choices, which limits the in-room refreshment options. A good stay overall, but these small touches could enhance the experience.
"Lovely getaway in Paris"
Our experience at the hotel was excellent, with comfortable rooms and attentive service throughout our stay. However, it would have been helpful to receive a brief tour upon arrival to familiarize ourselves with the facilities, such as the swimming pool, gym, and sauna, along with their opening hours. Additionally, we noticed that some items on the Room Service menu were unavailable—for instance, no fresh fruit was offered even at 11:00 pm. These minor issues aside, our stay was very enjoyable.
"Maybe based on location"
This hotel impresses with its beautiful decor and prime location, making it a visually stunning choice in the city. However, our stay was marred by service and comfort issues. We were incorrectly charged €36 per person for a mediocre breakfast buffet, despite clear signage stating it was included with the room, and it took about 30 minutes to get the charge corrected. Additionally, the air conditioning was inadequate, leaving our room uncomfortably warm even when the outside temperature was 60°F. A lovely property, but these service and comfort issues need attention.
"Paradise"
This hotel is truly a wonderful place to rest and reflect — for me, it’s the best spot in all of Paris. We completely fell in love with it, and honestly, I can’t imagine ever staying anywhere else.
"Fine, but…"
The hotel benefits from a fantastic location and well-decorated rooms, though some furnishings show signs of aging. The spa is impressive, featuring a large pool that makes relaxation easy. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major letdown and did not meet expectations for a 3-star offering.
"Great place to stay and location"
We love visiting Paris, and the 16th district is our favorite. The Majestic offers a fantastic location, excellent staff, and top-notch amenities, making every stay truly enjoyable.
"All good but not great"
The hotel has a prime, central location, making it convenient for sightseeing. Our top-floor room with a large terrace was spacious, cozy, and comfortable, with a particularly good double bed, though the sofa bed mattress was too small and thin. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and I had hoped for more thorough room cleaning during the day. Breakfast was good but lacked variety. The pool area was enjoyable. Unfortunately, at check-out, the reception staff were unsure how to assist with calling a taxi to the airport, which was inconvenient. Overall, while the location and room were excellent, service could be improved.
