"Mixed Experience – Great Surgical Team but Poor Organization and Support"
I had a procedure in September, and here’s my honest review. Although I was promised travel arrangements in Turkey, I ended up waiting an hour and a half at the airport because no one knew who I was or where to take me. After the hospital check-up, there was another hour’s wait. My time at the hospital was quite challenging — the nurses seemed uninterested, and the food served was cold and not vegetarian-friendly. On a positive note, the surgeon and the medical team were excellent. However, I received very little support from Medical Park during my stay, as my translator was unavailable and no replacement was provided. I booked my own hotel, so I can’t comment on the accommodation they offer. Overall, I feel you get what you pay for, and unfortunately, I would not choose to use their services again.
"Request for Detailed Invoice Breakdown for Insurance Claim Processing"
Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Mahbuba Salem. I underwent breast surgery on May 5th, 2023, at Medical Park Hospital, Bahcelievler, performed by Prof. Ozgur Kemik, for which I am grateful. I have received an invoice totaling 5,150 USD. However, for my insurance claim to be processed, the insurance company requires a detailed breakdown of the invoice amount, including the doctor's fee, anesthetist’s fee, operation theater costs, bed charges, medicine costs, and so forth. Despite my efforts and providing examples from other hospitals, I have been informed that the charges are presented as a package without a breakdown. Even if it is a package, I believe a detailed breakdown is necessary for transparency and claim processing. I kindly request your assistance in providing the detailed invoice breakdown so that my insurance claim can proceed without further delay. I appreciate your understanding and support in this matter. My experience was truly amazing. The staff were welcoming, friendly, professional, and very patient throughout. Ali Alameertaha stood out by providing exceptional service and support to us. The facility itself was spotless, well-lit, and equipped with the latest technology. The temperature was perfectly comfortable, and there were plenty of seating areas. Despite a good number of patients, it never felt crowded. The doctors were professional and offered clear, helpful information. I’m grateful for the excellent service and care I received. Thank you!
"Great Staff and Care for FUE Hair Transplant, but Communication Could Improve"
I highly recommend the staff and the facility for their professionalism, empathy, and quality of work. What keeps me from giving 5 stars is the somewhat fragmented and delayed communication for non-Turkish speakers, which made me feel like I was waiting longer than necessary without updates. However, this seems common in hospitals worldwide, including the US, Canada, and Sweden, so it’s not unique here. Here’s a bit more about my experience: I came for an FUE Hair Transplant, with all coordination done confidentially via WhatsApp. They arranged my hotel and transportation smoothly. The staff were attentive, professional, and respectful throughout. My representative collected my passport and medical info over WhatsApp, scheduled my appointment after confirming my flight, and provided an upfront cost of €1600 — a great deal compared to prices in North America and Europe, especially in a hospital setting where complications can be handled. The hospital translator contacted me the night before travel with clear directions for airport pickup. The facilities were clean, and the procedure went very well. On procedure day, I paid upfront and signed detailed paperwork explaining the treatment and side effects. The initial bloodwork was smooth, with the nurse hitting my vein on the first try. I met with the doctor to finalize my hairline, then went through local anesthesia (the most painful part), extraction, and preparation for the transplant, all while numb. Afterward, they served a delicious full meal and gave me a break before the long transplant session. The day involved lots of waiting and pictures — I arrived at 9 a.m. and left at 8 p.m. I returned the next day to have bandages removed and get the first wash. Now, almost three weeks later, I’m mostly healed and happy with my new hair growth.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout my journey, starting with the Moni Consultant, who was always incredibly attentive and responsive to all my questions and requests both before and after the surgery. The hospital itself is fantastic, and the medical staff are of very high quality. My surgery, performed in May 2024 to remove excess skin from my arms, is still in the recovery phase. I’m experiencing some sensitivity and fluid retention, and I’ve noticed that one arm seems to have a bit more skin than the other. However, my doctor advised me to be patient, as full recovery can take up to a year. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the surgery results and the care I received. I am planning to undergo additional aesthetic procedures at the same facility in the future.

I’m also very grateful to interpreter Sinem, who was always available and helped me from my arrival in Istanbul through to the final check-up. The entire process was seamless, from the transfers to the courteous hospital staff, and the facility itself was impressively clean and modernly equipped. A huge thank you goes to Dr. Ali Can Güneç, who performed my surgery successfully. My post-operative condition is excellent. I highly recommend Medical Park Florya Hospital to anyone seeking top-quality medical care and professionalism at the highest standard.
