"Horrifying Experience – Assaulted by Metro Bus Staff"
Absolutely terrible service! On October 14, 2024, at around 15:45, I was physically attacked by a Metro bus officer after requesting a refund for a bus that was 30 minutes late for departure to Edirne. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the superior on duty refused to return the ticket money and shockingly resorted to violence, using his fist to hit a passenger. The police had to get involved, which shows how unacceptable and unsafe the situation became. No passenger should ever face aggression or physical assault for simply asking for their rights. This was an appalling experience, and I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Metro bus.
"Extremely Poor Service and Lost Luggage"
Very poor service with completely incompetent staff. The bus driver lost our luggage, and instead of helping, the staff made the situation worse by not even knowing the contact numbers of their own colleagues. This lack of professionalism and accountability has caused us significant inconvenience and frustration. 😡😤
"Unsafe Driving Overshadows Otherwise Decent Service"
Considering the low ticket prices, I don’t usually mind minor issues such as limited communication skills. However, having a driver fall asleep while driving on the motorway — and passengers needing to wake him up — is completely unacceptable and dangerous. Apart from this, the service and buses have generally been fine, and I’ve taken many long journeys of 20–30 hours with them. Safety, though, must come first.
"Unreliable Service and Poor Bus Conditions"
The bus arrived 1 hour late, and while the company claimed the trip would take 1 hour and 30 minutes, it ended up lasting more than 2 hours. The seats were broken, and despite being a double-decker bus, there was no toilet available. Overall, very unreliable service — it’s better to choose a more dependable option.
"Mixed Experience with Metro Bus – Excellent Service but Poor Handling at Border"
I recently traveled with Metro bus from Plovdiv to Sofia and had a mixed experience. On my first journey, the service was excellent — the bus drivers and stewards were very kind, and since it was a night trip, I felt both comfortable and secure. However, on my return to Sofia, the experience was disappointing. While I understand that holiday traffic at the Turkish-Bulgarian border can be heavy, I did not expect to wait three extra hours. After passport and bus control were completed, we still had to wait an additional hour without any explanation. Later, it was mentioned that there were issues with certain passengers. In my view, this should not justify delaying an entire bus. Other companies handle such cases by removing the passenger and their luggage, allowing the rest of the passengers to continue without unnecessary delays. Unfortunately, the way Metro crew managed this situation was very unprofessional, making the overall service unreliable despite my initially positive impression.

The service provided was extremely disappointing. From the lack of professionalism to the poor overall experience, it left a very negative impression. Improvements in staff training, customer support, and reliability are urgently needed.
