"Lovely Setting with Tasty Coffee – But Service Can Be Stressful"
The café has a charming atmosphere and serves delicious coffee. Breakfast was enjoyable, but the experience requires some patience — service can be slow, and the buzz of hurried waiters made the environment feel a bit chaotic and stressful at times. Still, a nice place overall if you're not in a rush.
"Hidden Gem in Urubamba Market – Peaceful Spot with Great Sushi"
This quiet coffee shop and restaurant tucked away in the heart of Urubamba market is a perfect place to relax and unwind. It offers a peaceful escape with quality food and drinks — the sushi, in particular, is surprisingly great. A lovely hidden gem worth discovering.
"Exceptional Coffee and Delicious Food – A Must for Coffee Lovers"
The coffee here is ridiculously good — rich, bold, and expertly crafted. The food is just as impressive, making it a top spot for both meals and caffeine fixes. Highly recommended for any true coffee enthusiast!
"Misleading Dish – Omelette Was Just a Fried Egg"
I ordered an omelette but was served what was essentially just a plain fried egg — no cheese, no vegetables, nothing that actually makes it an omelette. A disappointing and misleading experience.
"Peaceful Escape with Great Coffee, but Skip the Cookies"
This café is a lovely spot to escape the bustle of Cusco’s old town. The flat white was excellent, and the hot chocolate was decent. However, the cookies didn’t live up to expectations and weren’t worth the price. A relaxing place overall, especially for coffee lovers.
"Best Coffee in Urubamba – Don’t Miss the Pancakes!"
This place serves the best coffee in Urubamba — rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. The food is equally impressive, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Be sure to try the pancakes — they’re a must!
"Disappointing Service and Missing Ingredients"
Our experience was quite disappointing. We ordered a falafel and avocado roll, but it came without any avocado. One of our drinks was completely forgotten, yet they still tried to charge us for it. The service felt rude and inattentive, leaving a negative impression overall. We’ve had much better experiences elsewhere.
"Decent Coffee, Odd Vibe – Better Alternatives Nearby"
Our experience here was a bit strange — the servers gave off an odd vibe, and the overall atmosphere felt slightly off. That said, the espresso was fine, and the bohemian setting wasn’t bad for getting some work done. We tried the falafel, which surprisingly exceeded expectations. However, if you’re in the area, I’d recommend heading to Qura just down the street. They serve Monkey Coffee’s roast but offer better food, a more welcoming ambiance, and an overall warmer experience.
"Unique Drinks and Delicious Bites in a Relaxed Setting"
We visited Monkey Coffee twice and were impressed both times. The orange coffee and coffee kombucha were standout, unique options — truly refreshing and flavorful. The atmosphere is chill and laid-back, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The sandwich, made with some of the best bread I've had, featured simple yet elevated ingredients that made it exceptionally tasty. A must-visit for coffee lovers and foodies alike!
"Fantastic Specialty Coffee Spot with Great Atmosphere"
Monkey Coffee is a wonderful place to enjoy high-quality specialty coffee in Cusco. The space is bright and airy, with comfortable seating both downstairs and upstairs, plus a pleasant outdoor patio. The coffee was excellent, the pastries were delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommended for coffee lovers!
