"Excellent Food and Service – Worth the Price"
An excellent place all around! The food was delicious and the service truly outstanding. While the prices are a bit above average for Cusco, they’re absolutely justified by the quality of the experience. The osso buco was spectacular, and both the food and drinks were beautifully presented. A memorable dining experience that’s definitely worth it!
"Nice Atmosphere and Service, But Underwhelming Flavors"
The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was attentive, which made for an enjoyable setting. However, the food itself didn’t quite stand out. For my taste, the dishes lacked intensity and boldness in flavor. Portion sizes were decent, but the overall experience didn’t justify the high prices. A nice spot, but the food could use more depth to truly impress.
"Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unwelcoming Staff"
Very disappointing experience. We drove half an hour to get here, only to be told at 10:00 PM that the restaurant was full and they weren't accepting any more customers—despite being well within the posted business hours. It would be much more helpful and respectful to clearly state on the website that service ends at 10:00, not just the hours. To make matters worse, there were several receptionists at the door, yet none offered a proper explanation or any hospitality. The lack of communication and courtesy was frustrating. Strongly suggest management take a serious look at how guests are welcomed—or turned away.
"Excellent Food, Stunning Views – Just Make a Reservation"
This is a great restaurant with a beautiful view of the plaza and surrounding mountains. We came as a party of two without a reservation and waited about 25 minutes—not bad, but I’d definitely recommend booking ahead if you're coming with a larger group. The food and drinks were fantastic—delicious with beautiful presentation. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. My only small suggestion would be to switch from paper to reusable cloth napkins, which would elevate the overall experience even more. Still, a wonderful dining spot worth visiting!
"Great Ambiance, But Food Falls Short"
The setting and ambiance of this restaurant are excellent—it’s a beautiful space that makes you feel good just being there. However, the food was underwhelming and didn’t quite meet expectations. I ordered the alpaca and was surprised by how tough the meat was, as I was expecting tender, well-prepared slices. The ossobuco also didn’t suit our taste. Overall, while the atmosphere is great, the food was average at best. There are definitely better dining options if you’re looking for a more satisfying culinary experience.
"Disappointing First Dinner in Cusco – Poor Service and Underwhelming Cuy"
After waiting 40 minutes for a table, we were finally seated—but the experience quickly went downhill. The bench we were placed on had soggy cushions that made it uncomfortable to sit, and despite asking the server multiple times for chairs or a different table, we were repeatedly told it wasn't possible—even as nearby tables became available. Our table was supposed to have two chairs, but they had been taken by a large group next to us, leaving both my husband and me stuck on the uncomfortable bench throughout the meal. On the food side, the ceviche was very good, and my husband enjoyed his ossobuco. Unfortunately, the cuy I ordered was the worst I’ve had in Peru. Though it looked presentable, it was mostly bone with very little meat, overly salty, thin, and lacking the signature tenderness and juiciness you’d expect. When I asked the waiter if it was made with fresh cuy, he admitted it wasn’t—but offered no apology, explanation, or alternative. This was the most expensive item on the menu, and the lack of quality combined with inexperienced service left me very disappointed. Sadly, what should have been a memorable first dinner in Cusco turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable experience.
"Stunning Setting, Excellent Service, and Dreamy Dessert"
This beautifully decorated restaurant offers a lovely view of the main square, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. The menu is diverse and caters to all tastes, with each dish presented with care and elegance. The service was flawless throughout, and the crème brûlée was an absolute dream—creamy, perfectly caramelized, and the highlight of the meal. A must-visit for both the food and the setting!
"A Standout Culinary Experience in Peru"
We enjoyed great food throughout our time in Peru, but this restaurant truly amazed us. The Lomo Saltado Morena and lemongrass lemonade were outstanding, and the chicken soup and guacamole were also excellent and deeply appreciated. Beyond the incredible food, the décor was stylish, the presentation was beautiful, and the view overlooking the plaza added a special touch to the experience. Thank you for such a memorable meal—highly recommended!
"A Must-Try in Cusco – Book Well in Advance!"
Highly recommend this place—there’s a reason it comes so highly recommended! The staff are friendly and incredibly attentive, and the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious (even though I couldn’t finish mine due to altitude sickness). The atmosphere is lovely, with charming décor and a thoughtful touch like the cute reserved card waiting on our table. If you’re planning to visit Cusco, this spot is a must—but be sure to make a reservation at least a month in advance. Totally worth it!
"Great Atmosphere and Service, but Disappointing Gnocchi"
The atmosphere and service at this place are truly excellent—warm, welcoming, and attentive. The drinks were also well-made and enjoyable. The bruschetta was very good and a promising start to the meal. However, we ordered two types of gnocchi to share, and unfortunately, they were a major letdown. The texture was slimy and unpleasant—honestly, some of the worst I’ve had. That said, the presentation was beautiful, which made the experience even more disappointing given the taste and texture didn’t match the visual appeal.
