"Well-Organized Station with Convenient Facilities"
The station in the Chatuchak area is well organized and equipped with paid bath and restroom facilities, making it quite convenient. It’s a perfect hub for travelers heading to nearby districts or Don Mueang Airport, though it can feel a bit out of the way if you’re coming from Sukhumvit or Thonburi. Transportation is easy, with a bus stop located behind the station and plenty of taxis queuing in front, along with Grab pickup options.
"Free Snacks Can’t Cover Up a Freezing Nightmare"
No amount of free snacks can make up for the unbearable discomfort of spending 10 hours trapped in an ice-cold bus. The air conditioning was blasting like a refrigerator, making the ride nothing short of torture. The so-called blankets provided were far too short and too thin to keep anyone warm. I booked online and was never informed to bring warm clothes—something you don’t expect in July in Thailand. Instead of comfort, it felt like being stuck in a freezing apartment in communist Romania in the 80s. Absolutely horrible. If possible, I would have given zero stars.
"Tacky Station with Misleading Departure Times"
Compared to other Bangkok bus stations, this one feels pretty tacky and poorly organized. What passengers aren’t told is that buses actually leave here about 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time from Morchit. As a result, some travelers arrive on time expecting the usual schedule, only to find out their bus has already left. Very frustrating and misleading.
"Avoid Booking Online – Worst Seats Guaranteed"
Be cautious when booking with this company through 12go. They don’t let you choose your own seat and will stick you with the worst spot on the bus. Despite the bus being only about 20% full when we departed, I was placed right next to the toilet. The design is terrible—one single seat sits just 5 cm away from the toilet door. That means enduring a 10-hour ride with passengers constantly slamming the door every few minutes, all while sitting in the constant stench of urine and waste. Absolutely miserable experience. This was the last time I’ll ever book with this bus provider.
"Decent Service but Outdated Bus for First Class"
I booked a first-class ticket from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. The service was satisfactory, and the driver was courteous. However, the bus itself was clearly an older vehicle that needs better maintenance. On rough road conditions, it became excessively noisy, which made the ride less comfortable than expected for a first-class ticket.
"Repeated Delays and No Compensation"
This is the second time I’ve experienced a serious delay with Nakhonchai Air. The last time was during the holidays when my bus, scheduled for 10 PM, didn’t leave until almost 1 AM—which caused me to be late for work. Today, the same thing is happening again: I’ve been sitting here for almost an hour waiting for my 10 PM bus. To make matters worse, they didn’t offer me any compensation last time because I’m a foreigner. Nakhonchai Air, you can do better. 😡
"Unexpected and Frustrating Delay"
During my trip, the bus suddenly stopped at a random point along the journey. The staff told us it would only take 10 minutes, but more than 30 minutes passed and the bus still hadn’t moved. All passengers were left stuck in the middle of the road without clear communication. Very unprofessional and frustrating.
