"Solid Coffee with a Great View – Know Before You Order"

Dropped by for coffee at this spot by the iconic Gherkin and had a pretty enjoyable experience. Both the cappuccino and hot chocolate were decent – nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying. The environment was cozy and a nice place to hang out for a bit. A helpful heads-up: the self-order machine is strictly for takeout. Dine-in has a different (higher) price point, so if you’re planning to stay, grab a table and wait for a staff member to assist. Overall, a solid stop for a casual coffee break with a nice atmosphere.

"Great Coffee & Breakfast Deal Near the Gherkin"

Really lovely spot tucked next to the Gherkin with a strong coffee game and solid breakfast options. I had an iced oat latte and a smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel — all for under £10, which feels like a rare find in the City! The quality was great, the vibe relaxed, and the outdoor seating made it an ideal place to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Highly recommend for a casual and affordable city breakfast.

"Beautiful Interior, But Underwhelming Experience"

The interior here is definitely a highlight — warm, modern, and inviting. However, the latte was just okay, which was a bit disappointing considering it's a roastery. On top of that, 2 out of the 3 desserts on the menu were unavailable, which limited options quite a bit. Service felt a little inattentive and could definitely be improved. Overall, not terrible, but didn’t live up to expectations.

"Quality Coffee with a Nice Upstairs Seating Area"

Had a good long black here — rich and well-balanced. The coffee is roasted and ground by Notes, which explains the quality. It’s a little more expensive than average, but definitely worth it for the flavor. There’s a small seating area upstairs that looks pleasant if you’re planning to stay for a bit. A solid spot for a quality caffeine fix.

"Warm Vibes and Great Matcha"

I absolutely love this café! The baristas are warm, welcoming, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people — special shoutout to Marketa and Roli, who always brighten my day. It’s also a fantastic space to work from: cozy, inviting, and relaxed. Plus, their matcha latte is one of my favorites in the city. Highly recommend for both the atmosphere and the drinks!

"Stylish Spot Inside the Pickle"

The main draw here is definitely its unique location inside the "Pickle" building, which adds a fun architectural twist. Otherwise, it’s a fairly classic coffee shop — nicely decorated and comfortable. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but it’s a pleasant place to grab a coffee and enjoy the surroundings.
