"Nice hotel in city center"
The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with everything in working order and a lovely rain shower in the room. The buffet breakfast is nice, and the central location in a quiet area is very convenient. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff—they went above and beyond, responding to emails before our arrival, recommending fantastic restaurants, and even making reservations for us. The rooftop bar offers a nice ambiance, though drinks are on the expensive side. Overall, a very welcoming and comfortable stay.

This was our second visit to the hotel, and once again it was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, with Luca providing excellent advice on local sights and delicious nearby restaurants. The location is very convenient, with nearly all the attractions we wanted to visit within easy walking distance.
"Quite and stylish room"
At first glance, we were charmed by Agita’s warm and welcoming attitude. As Iranian travelers unfamiliar with the 2nd of July Italian National Day celebrations, Agita guided us carefully to ensure we had no issues returning. The room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast on the roof garden was excellent. The hotel is very clean, stylish, and perfectly located. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay, and we hope our left-behind clothes will be safely kept for us.
"Location location location"
The hotel’s location is unbeatable, especially for those who enjoy walking—everything was easily accessible, and we loved it! Luca and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful, offering great local tips. Breakfast on the roof was a highlight, with a good variety and coffee made to order. We stayed four nights, though had to skip breakfast on two days due to early tours—a useful lesson for future trips. With sights all around and easy evening walks to Trastevere for dinner, we would definitely stay here again!
"Fantastic stay"
Our stay at Otivum was fabulous. The room was perfectly sized for two, with plenty of closet space, a large bathroom, and a kettle for morning coffee. Breakfast on the roof was spectacular, offering amazing views and a wonderful variety of food. The hotel’s location is ideal, within walking distance of Basilica Santa Maria in Aracoeli, the Vittorio Emanuele monument, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and Campo de’ Fiori. Cafes, restaurants, gelato shops, and a supermarket are just around the corner. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff—every single person was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, making our stay perfect!
"Nice hotel with a really good location"
The hotel enjoys a perfect location, with spacious rooms and a big, comfortable bed. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a lovely start to the day. Within walking distance of almost everything, we stayed four nights and were able to visit all the major sights in Rome on foot. In the evenings, there were excellent restaurants nearby, or we ventured to Trastevere, which offers a wide variety of dining options.
"Great Location & Attentive Staff"
We will definitely return! This smaller hotel is in a perfect location and has an incredibly helpful staff. They knew us, our itinerary, and managed every detail flawlessly. The rooftop breakfast was wonderful, with Giorgio creating special new side dishes and specialty coffees each day—truly a memorable experience.
"Not quite the wow factor expected, but an okay experience in a beautiful city."
The hotel is in a fantastic location with great customer service. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and spacious, and the room was cleaned regularly—covering all the basic needs one would expect. There were a few downsides. The rooms could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, as there were noticeable marks on the walls, and at £195 per night, the value felt a little lacking. We had a terrace, which was lovely but too cold to use at the time of year we visited. The rooftop bar was closed during our stay (we were notified in advance) and became slightly noisy once it reopened, though this was minor. Breakfast was adequate, though nothing special. Additionally, the city tax ended up being €7.50 per person per night instead of the €6 initially quoted, totaling an unexpected extra €75. Overall, while the hotel does its job and the location is excellent, the quality didn’t fully justify the price. A special shout-out to one exceptional staff member at the front desk on Wednesday afternoon around 3 PM—her professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness were truly impressive and a credit to the hotel. Despite minor shortcomings, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel for a practical stay in Rome.
"Rome is beautiful, the hotel is amazing"
This was my first visit in years, and measuring the hotel’s location from the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, I couldn’t have been happier! The hotel is very conveniently situated, with a 24-hour reception staffed by attentive and pleasant team members—special thanks to Tiziano. They even reminded me to collect my deposit, which was promptly returned. The rooms are modern, featuring updated plumbing and large bathrooms. Breakfast on the roof terrace was gorgeous, and evening aperitifs added a lovely touch. Thank you for making my trip to Rome unforgettable—it has truly become my favorite journey!
