"Nice hotel in city center"
The hotel is very nice, with clean rooms, a lovely rain shower, and everything in proper working order. The buffet breakfast is enjoyable, and the central yet quiet location is convenient for exploring the city. The standout feature, however, is the staff—they responded promptly to emails before our arrival, recommended excellent restaurants, and even made reservations for us, going out of their way to ensure we felt welcome. The rooftop bar is pleasant, though drinks are on the expensive side.
"Location location location"
The hotel’s location is unbeatable for those who enjoy walking, providing easy access to Rome’s major sights. Luca and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—definitely a great resource for recommendations. Breakfast on the rooftop offered a nice variety, with coffee made to order. During our four-night stay, we sometimes had to skip breakfast due to early tours, but that’s a lesson learned for future trips. Evenings were spent walking to Trastevere for dinner. We would happily stay here again, which says it all!
"Location, location, location"
This hotel had everything we needed for our multi-generational group, ranging from ages 7 to 70. Its location is excellent, with every major sight within walking distance. The rooftop bar offers fantastic views, though drinks are very expensive. The rooms, while needing a slight decorative refresh, were spacious for a European hotel and spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and we even received an espresso upon arrival. Despite being near the busy Piazza Venezia, we all slept soundly, though light sleepers should be aware of potential traffic noise. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.
"Fantastic stay"
Our stay at Otivum was simply wonderful. The room was perfectly sized for two, with ample closet space, a large bathroom, and a kettle for morning coffee. Breakfast on the rooftop was spectacular, offering amazing views and a wide variety of delicious food. The hotel’s location is ideal, within walking distance to Basilica Santa Maria in Aracoeli, the Vittorio Emanuele monument, the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Campo de’ Fiori, with cafes, restaurants, gelato shops, and a supermarket just around the corner. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the staff—every single person was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, making our stay absolutely perfect!
"Location was good"
The hotel was nice and clean, with a good location. The rooftop bar offers a beautiful view, though it is quite expensive, and the bed was not very comfortable. A concern was the pre-authorization policy: two weeks before arrival, the hotel pre-authorized the first night’s amount, and upon check-in, they requested full payment, holding the refund until checkout. This could be inconvenient for guests relying on those funds. While the location makes it appealing, overall it doesn’t quite justify the price.
"Great Location & Attentive Staff"
We can’t wait to return! This smaller hotel is perfectly located and offers incredibly attentive staff. They knew us and our itinerary, managing every detail with care. Breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful—Giorgio impressed us daily with special side dishes and expertly prepared specialty coffees.
"Quite and stylish room"
At first glance, we were charmed by Agita’s warm and welcoming attitude 😊. As Iranian travelers, we were unaware of the July 2nd Italian National Day celebrations, and Agita guided us perfectly to ensure a smooth return. The room was quiet, very clean, and stylish, while breakfast in the rooftop garden was excellent. The location is also very convenient. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay—and we hope the hotel will keep the clothes we left behind for us.
"Rome is beautiful, the hotel is amazing"
This was my first time in years measuring the location from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps—and I couldn’t have been happier! The hotel is conveniently located, with a 24-hour reception staffed by attentive and pleasant team members—special thanks to Tiziano for excellent service. They even reminded me about a forgotten deposit and returned it promptly. The rooms are modern, featuring updated plumbing and a large bathroom. Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were gorgeous, and the evening aperitif was a lovely touch. Thank you to the entire team for making my trip to Rome unforgettable!
"Nice hotel with a really good location"
The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of almost all major sights in Rome. Our room was spacious with a big, comfortable bed. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was enjoyable, offering a pleasant start to the day. During our four-night stay, we easily explored the city on foot and enjoyed nearby restaurants in the evenings, or ventured to Trastevere for even more dining options.

Wow—this hotel is truly fantastic! The staff go above and beyond, always kind, friendly, and helpful. The location is excellent, within walking distance of all major attractions. Our room with a terrace was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace was absolutely delicious, with breathtaking views. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our visit so memorable!
