I travelled from the UK to WestDent Clinic in Izmir for planned all-on-4 treatment on both top and bottom. After an examination, the dentist advised keeping my healthy upper teeth and instead recommended 6 implants on the bottom with crowns and bridges on top. This change not only preserved my natural teeth but also reduced my treatment cost, showing that WestDent genuinely cares about patients over profit. The quality of their work is exceptional—quick, efficient, and done with pride. I arrived Friday night, and by Saturday afternoon, all implants were in and my upper teeth were prepped. Throughout my 5-day stay, the staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured my comfort. They provided a translator and a driver for all transfers, making everything smooth and stress-free. "Warning – Dishonest Practice and Poor Quality Work"
This clinic is a complete fraud. I paid for Emax crowns but was given zirconia instead—my photos and X-rays make it obvious. Emax crowns should appear translucent on X-rays, while zirconia looks exactly like what I received. Now I understand why, despite multiple requests, the owner and dentist refused to show me my completed work on X-ray. After treatment, I discovered improper placement and gaps between the crowns and gums, which trap food and have made eating miserable for almost a year. When I tried to contact them for a refund or correction, they refused to speak to me. I now need to replace all my crowns at my own expense. Avoid this clinic at all costs. Dishonest, unprofessional, and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes.

I was genuinely considering their services, but after this interaction, I’ve decided to pay more and get my treatment done at home. Read their negative reviews carefully—my experience confirms many of them.

Even after we made our payment, we were asked to prove it with a receipt, despite the error not being ours. Worse, they never bothered to call to correct the situation. I have nothing against the doctor, but the front desk staff is a major problem.

We went for a tooth extraction, but the elevator was broken—not once, but twice when we returned for our appointment. I also noticed other patients struggling to get upstairs. It’s concerning that the elevator remained unrepaired for two weeks. While the treatment itself was fine and the staff responded to our comment, I hope the clinic ensures easier access for elderly patients. It seems the staff may not be fully aware of this ongoing issue.

We initially chose WestDent Clinic in Izmir on Bookimed’s recommendation, expecting professional and reliable dental care. The first visit seemed promising, but the second visit was a nightmare. Within two days of returning home, my implant with crown began to spin. The clinic offered to cover repairs abroad, but later refused, proposing impossible “fixes” instead. A panoramic X-ray at a specialized clinic revealed that the Nobel implant installed six months earlier had failed to integrate, causing significant bone loss. The implant head was twisted and cracked, yet WestDent had placed a crown on it anyway. Furthermore, the clinic ignored my husband’s complaints about a wobbly bridge, assuring him it “would pass,” but it fell out almost immediately. Later, another crown and abutment also failed due to poor fixation. All work was done extremely poorly, requiring additional travel and expenses to correct. Despite promises and a supposed guarantee, the clinic did not take responsibility for its errors. We now face the consequences of incompetent dental care. I have all medical certificates from qualified doctors to document this failure. I absolutely do not recommend WestDent Clinic.

On the 17th, I visited the clinic feeling nervous, but I was immediately put at ease by the welcoming staff. The team carefully explained the procedure, which helped calm my anxiety. Mr. Baran was especially attentive and friendly throughout the process. The extraction of my two wisdom teeth took about 35 minutes, including the administration of anesthesia. My teeth weren’t impacted, so the total cost came to 5,000 lira, and the clinic kindly did not charge for the x-ray. Overall, it was a professional, efficient, and reassuring experience. I appreciated their friendly approach and clear communication, making what can be a stressful procedure much more comfortable.
