"Poor Seat Management on Lautoka–Suva Route"

Pacific Transport’s seat-checking system on the Lautoka–Suva–Lautoka route is poorly managed. Passengers who leave their seats briefly during stops, like the 10-minute break in Sigatoka, often return to find their seats taken by incoming passengers. This forces paying customers to scramble for alternatives, sometimes being directed to smaller buses, which is unfair and disruptive on a four-hour journey. The company should ensure proper seat allocation before accepting new passengers to provide a reliable and respectful service.

"Comfortable and Clean Bus, But Tight for Taller Passengers"

The bus was nice and clean, and the seats were comfortable. However, the spacing between seats is quite limited, making it uncomfortable for taller or bigger passengers. Overall, a decent ride but not ideal for those who need extra legroom.

"Budget Travel with Hidden Costs and Poor Conditions"

The bus from Suva to Nadi may be cheap, but the experience leaves much to be desired. Broken seats, a strong smell of urine, and inconsistent payment practices—insisting on cash while others pay by card—make the ride uncomfortable and frustrating. While it’s the most affordable option, travelers should be prepared for subpar conditions and the possibility of being overcharged.

"Misleading “Express” Service"

The Express buses are far from express. They stop frequently at hotels, major junctions, and even small villages beyond the usual towns. Additionally, passengers often eat on the bus despite posted signs prohibiting it. Overall, the journey is slower and less orderly than expected.

"Declining Standards and Poor Service"

Our recent experience with this bus service was extremely frustrating. On Saturday, our bus leaked so badly that we had to stop halfway in Sigatoka and wait 30–45 minutes for a replacement. The replacement bus was a standard vehicle, not an express, and it stopped at every stop along the way—turning what should have been a much shorter trip from Nadi to Suva into a 6-hour ordeal. On our return trip, the driver kept allowing passengers on until several people were left standing. This raises serious questions about company policy, safety, and ticket overselling. Maintenance seems neglected, and overall service standards have significantly declined. A waste of time and money; I cannot recommend this service.

"Budget-Friendly Fiji Bus Experience"

Overall, my journey with Pacific Transport Fiji from Nadi to Suva was positive. The buses are older and not the most comfortable, but the low price makes up for it. The drivers’ adventurous style is typical for the region, yet I felt safe throughout the trip. The inexpensive fare allowed me to enjoy Fiji’s beautiful scenery, and I would travel with them again.

"Terrible Bus Experience – Repeated Problems"

I am extremely disappointed with this bus service. There were cockroaches on the bus, and the air conditioning started leaking just an hour into the ride, drenching me with water. When I informed the checker, I was simply told to move seats—but on a full bus, where am I supposed to go? I only managed to change my seat upon arriving in Sigatoka, by which time my jeans were soaked and I was cold. This has happened to me three times already. Due to such repeated issues, I have switched my transportation to Sunbeam.
