"Beautiful Setting and Excellent Mains, But Overwhelming Start"

While the main courses were truly enjoyable and showcased great culinary execution, the initial snacks—particularly the four olive oil "balls" we each received—were a bit much for our tastes. We understand olive oil is a beloved staple in Spanish cuisine, but the intensity right at the start left us feeling slightly nauseous. That said, the ambiance is stunning. Both the restaurant and the hotel interiors are beautifully designed and elevate the overall experience. If you're a fan of bold Spanish flavors, you'll likely appreciate it more than we did.

"Exceptional Dining Experience in a Stunning Setting"

We had an amazing experience — the food was outstanding and every dish was complemented perfectly by the spot-on wine pairing. The service was attentive and professional throughout, making us feel truly cared for. On top of that, the restaurant's location in a beautiful, historic building added even more charm to the evening. Highly impressed and would definitely return!

"Elegant Setting and Excellent Service, but Food Fell Short of Expectations"

The food at this restaurant was not as special or surprising as I had hoped, despite the attractive presentation. Considering the price—over €800 for two people—I expected a bit more culinary wow factor. On the positive side, the treatment and service from all the staff were outstanding and truly deserving of praise. The place itself is immaculate and elegant, creating a refined atmosphere. A lovely personal touch was the warm greeting from Chef Paco, which added charm to the experience.

"An Unforgettable Michelin-Starred Dining Experience in Madrid’s Casino"

Located in the heart of Madrid inside the casino, this restaurant offers an unforgettable culinary journey. Dining here is far beyond just a meal at a Michelin-starred spot — every bite delivers a unique and intense flavor experience. From the moment you arrive, the service impresses: you ascend in a vintage elevator, are warmly welcomed at the entrance, and receive a glass of champagne (which is charged later). The sommelier provides excellent wine recommendations if you prefer not to opt for a full pairing. The tasting menu, which we enjoyed in November 2023, lasts just over three hours and features a multitude of dishes designed to awaken your senses. Water is complimentary and discreetly refilled throughout the meal, adding to the seamless experience. This dining adventure truly stands out as a highlight in Madrid’s vibrant food scene.

"Refined and Delicious, Though Missing a “Wow” Factor"

A very pleasant experience overall—every dish was delicious and well-executed. While I couldn’t find fault with any specific item, I did feel something was missing in terms of surprise or innovation, perhaps because the menu leans toward refined versions of traditional Spanish dishes. That said, the shorter format of the menu was appreciated, allowing us to enjoy the evening without feeling overly full. Service was polite, attentive, and professional. Standout dishes for me were the razor clams with garlic, the pigeon, and the chocolates to finish. A solid and satisfying dining experience.

"Fantastic Dining with a View, but Communication Could Improve"

The terrace is absolutely spectacular, and the overall gastronomic experience was memorable. The dishes were creative and well-executed, making for a very enjoyable evening. However, one detail that could be improved is communication: we weren’t informed about changes to the menu. While it’s understandable that dishes may vary based on market availability (as noted), it would have been appreciated if the maître had explained the modifications when we chose the menu. A small detail, but important for transparency and overall experience.
