From the moment we were welcomed on arrival, our stay at Lynnaya Urban River Resort & Spa was thoroughly enjoyable. Our room reflected true five-star standards, and the dining experience—both breakfast and lunch—was equally outstanding. We would like to make special mention of Mr. Sak, from guest relations, and Mr. Sokohan, dining room manager, for their professionalism and management expertise, which greatly enhanced our stay. The entire staff contributed to a seamless and memorable experience. We will highly recommend this hotel to our Travel Agent and look forward to future visits. Summary: Exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and attentive staff make Lynnaya Urban River Resort & Spa a highly recommended choice in Siem Reap.
"Comfortable Stay with Spacious Apartments – Great Value at The Palace Gate Residences"
I had the pleasure of staying at The Palace Gate Residences in Phnom Penh and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel’s central location makes getting around the city easy, though the street itself is a bit less maintained than other areas. The real highlight is the rooms—more like full apartments than standard hotel rooms. We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment, which was enormous, spotless, and equipped with a kitchen and living/dining area. The beds were incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Phnom Penh. The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and accommodating, arranging breakfast and hotel transfers without any fuss. One small note: there’s only one elevator for the 9 floors, which can get crowded when traveling with larger groups.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our tour of Cambodia. The dinner was enjoyable, offering good continental options, though not particularly local cuisine. Special mention to Mr. Sokdran, who was friendly and professional, making our brief stay pleasant.

Having stayed 6 nights at Palace Gate Hotel & Residences, I can confidently say the property offers a very enjoyable experience despite a few minor shortcomings. Highlights: The colonial charm of the hotel is evident throughout, with well-furnished rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent A/C. My room featured a large fridge, microwave, safe, personal weighing scales, and balconies with city and temple views. The staff are outstanding, particularly Tuy and Sak, whose friendly greetings and warm service truly enhance the stay. The small pool is beautifully maintained and perfect for a quiet morning swim. Considerations: Noise from nearby temples and outdoor events can be disruptive, particularly in the early mornings. The gym is very hot and not ideal for workouts. Breakfast and restaurant service were disappointing: omelettes often undercooked, slow service, and high prices for small portions. Exploring nearby dining options is recommended. Overall: Palace Gate is a delightful hotel with excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a charming atmosphere, slightly let down by breakfast and occasional noise. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it for a relaxing stay in Phnom Penh.

We always choose this hotel when visiting Phnom Penh, and it never disappoints. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making each stay smooth and enjoyable.
"Good hotel"
We arrived at the hotel around dinner time, so our experience was mostly limited to the room and the restaurant. Unfortunately, the dinner was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend eating there if it can be avoided. Breakfast was sufficient, though we had to wait about 10 minutes to get some hot milk. The room itself was comfortable, but there was nothing particularly remarkable or noteworthy about it. For a single-night stay, the hotel is perfectly adequate.
