"Beautiful Rooftop, But Rooms Disappoint"
The rooftop is stunning, with panoramic views of the surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center, and the common areas showcase the beautiful volcanic white stone typical of Arequipa. However, our room had no view, a very noisy fridge, and constant issues with hot water—unacceptable for the price paid. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
"Great Stay with the Best Breakfast"
A very nice hotel within easy walking distance of the Plaza. The breakfast was the best we’ve had during our trip. One important tip: don’t forget to insert your room key into the slot near the door—otherwise, the electricity won’t work!
"Perfect City Hotel with Amazing Rooftop Views"
The rooftop bar and restaurant offer an incredible view—an awesome way to start the day. Breakfast was good, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect, right in the center of town. The added bonus of a garage in the building makes it even more convenient. A great choice for a city trip!
"Frustrating Stay Despite a Nice Rooftop"
I reported the lack of hot water in my room, and while it was fixed the next day, the problem kept happening again and again. My room also had no windows and was located directly under the kitchen, so all night I could hear pots and pans clattering. The one redeeming feature was the rooftop deck, which truly is wonderful.
"Charming Hotel Near Arequipa’s Plaza"
A very nice hotel with fascinating architecture, located just a couple of blocks from Arequipa’s main plaza. The service was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast selection along with the beautiful views from the terrace.
"Good Location and Rooftop Views, But Poor Taxi Service"
This is a nice hotel with a lovely rooftop view. Breakfast was very good, and the location is excellent—close to the main historical sites. However, be aware that most rooms have windows facing inside, so there’s no real view. One major downside was the taxi service booked through the hotel. We were told the airport ride would cost 25 soles, but upon arrival, the driver asked for 30 soles. When we called the hotel for clarification, the customer service desk simply said it wasn’t their responsibility and that the taxi could charge whatever he wanted. This left a poor impression, so we’d recommend avoiding taxi bookings through the hotel.
"Fantastic Hotel with Rooftop Views"
A truly fantastic hotel! The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop bar offers breathtaking views. Highly recommended!
"Warm Hospitality and Great Location"
The staff at this hotel are exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast, though simple, offered enough variety to suit different tastes. A highlight was definitely the rooftop, with its lovely views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were comfortable, though a bit dim and could benefit from better lighting. Dinner was enjoyable, with well-prepared dishes, and the location was excellent—close to the city center and perfect for exploring. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with warm hospitality and a great location!
"Comfortable Stay with Great Views, But Pricey and Inflexible"
Positives: The room was very spacious, authentic, and comfortable. The hotel itself has excellent facilities, and the staff were supportive and kind. Breakfast was good—though not highly varied—and the rooftop setting offered an amazing view over the city. The location was also convenient, less than a 10-minute walk from the city center. Negatives: While the hotel feels luxurious and very comfortable, the high price seems difficult to justify for Arequipa. We also had a frustrating experience when trying to rebook our last night after deciding on a two-day trek. Although staff confirmed there was availability, they insisted the change could only be made via Booking.com. This forced us to make multiple international calls to England, costing over 20 EUR, since it couldn’t be managed through the website or app. This lack of flexibility was really disappointing.
"Beautiful Common Areas, But Rooms Disappointing for the Price"
The hotel has beautifully designed common spaces, and the rooftop offers stunning views. However, for the price, the room was disappointing—quite small, with no window to the outside (so no natural light), and a very small bathroom. There was no kettle or coffee machine provided, though staff did bring us a kettle when we asked. We skipped breakfast, as $10 felt a bit excessive.
