"Splendour of Siem Reap"
We stayed for 4 days, from September 8 to 11, 2025, and had a truly memorable experience. Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive an upgrade, which was such a pleasant surprise. From the very beginning, the hospitality and care shown by every member of the team stood out. Throughout our stay, everyone was attentive, eager to ensure we were comfortable, and constantly checked in on our well-being. The staff also shared many wonderful recommendations on things to do during our trip, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Our room was beautifully furnished, well-equipped, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day out. The entire experience felt warm and welcoming—like being at home away from home. We promised ourselves that we would return, and we truly mean it. This stay was special, and we look forward to coming back.
"All inclusive luxury go for it!"
Attention to detail is what sets this hotel apart. It truly feels like an oasis in the center of Siem Reap. Opting for the all-inclusive luxury experience is absolutely worth it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making every moment enjoyable. From the rooms to the amenities and services, everything exudes luxury. A truly memorable stay—thank you a thousand times!
"Solid Choice in Siem Real"
A very nice hotel with beautiful on-site grounds and a prime location—just steps from central Siem Reap’s restaurants and shopping, all easily walkable or a short tuk-tuk ride away. The on-site restaurant and lounge offer solid, enjoyable food. Staff are friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the stay. Definitely a place I would recommend.
"Truly one of the BEST hotel experiences!"
My friend and I spent three nights in Siem Reap and decided to treat ourselves with a stay at the Park Hyatt — an easy choice after positive experiences with the brand elsewhere. The location is excellent, just a six-minute walk to Pub Street. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special: our luggage was handled immediately, check-in came with tea and a five-minute massage, and our room was prepared with tropical fruits and scarves. Each evening, turndown service included thoughtful snacks. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it was the staff who truly made our stay extraordinary. They somehow remembered our daily plans, checked in with us at breakfast, and warmly greeted us each time we came and went. Their attentiveness felt personal and genuine, almost like staying with family friends in a luxurious setting. Breakfast was delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the spa treatments — especially the Khmer massage — were the perfect way to unwind after long days of travel. With my Cambodian background, I was able to converse with the staff, and they were always patient, warm, and welcoming. When it came time to leave, multiple staff members came out to see us off, and I felt genuinely sad to say goodbye. Park Hyatt Siem Reap is not just a hotel — it’s a place where Cambodian hospitality shines. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful country.
"My Best Hyatt Experience Ever!"
The Park Hyatt Siem Reap has given me the best Hyatt experience I’ve ever had. The entire team is wonderfully orchestrated, delivering exceptional quality and memorable moments throughout my stay. From warm personal conversations with the staff to the impeccable service, I was left deeply impressed and touched. Special thanks to GM Nur, whose remarkable leadership is clearly reflected in the spirit of the whole team. The hotel is beautifully maintained and radiates a fresh, calming energy despite being right in the heart of bustling Siem Reap. Its discreet yet elegant architecture and interiors create a serene atmosphere. Dining was a highlight, with marvelous food quality and delightful surprises, complemented by evening cultural programs like Apsara dance performances and the Candle Release Ceremony. The spa was another standout, with some of the best therapists I’ve ever experienced in a peaceful, high-quality setting. Add to this the hotel’s superb location — within walking distance of Pub Street, restaurants, and shops — and it truly becomes the perfect base for exploring Siem Reap. Park Hyatt Siem Reap is more than a hotel; it became my second home. Heartfelt thanks to this special family in Siem Reap for making my stay unforgettable.
"Some misgivings"
We stayed for 4 nights to explore the Angkor Wat ruins, like most visitors. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and the hotel staff were especially friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Vivi, who made our visit more memorable by arranging an afternoon in the spa. That said, a couple of issues stood out. As mentioned by other guests on TripAdvisor, the rooms facing the busy road are not soundproofed, which can make restful sleep difficult—we managed with earplugs. Breakfast was also a bit underwhelming; the food wasn’t particularly delicious, though perhaps it’s a challenge to source ingredients that suit Western tastes. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and the concierge arranged a fantastic Tuk Tuk driver for us—Saritz (No. 14), who’s very friendly and offers great prices. His “Harley Davidson” tuk tuk was a fun touch (see attached picture). Despite the issues, we would definitely stay at Park Hyatt again for its convenience and warm hospitality. Hopefully, management can address the soundproofing and breakfast quality in the future.
"A very good stay in Siem Reap"
I stayed for three nights, using Hyatt Category 1–4 certificates for the first two nights and paying for the third night with breakfast included. Since I didn’t have any additional awards to use (such as a Hyatt Guest of Honor), I fully expected to pay for breakfast on the first two days. To my delight, the hotel proactively comped breakfast for those days, explaining that while no room upgrade was available, they would make up for it with complimentary breakfast. A wonderful gesture, and one I greatly appreciated—especially since upgrades are based on availability and never guaranteed. Personally, I always follow the advice to book the room you actually want. In this case, free breakfast was a far more valuable perk than an upgrade. Speaking of breakfast, it was excellent. There’s a buffet of continental items—fruits, breads, cheeses, and more—alongside hot dishes from both Western and Cambodian menus. Every dish I tried was delicious. The buffet even had good muesli, which I love, and guests were welcomed with freshly shucked coconuts to enjoy on the way in. As for the room, it met every expectation. Everything worked as it should, and while the fixtures weren’t the most up-to-date (no USB-C ports, for example), the essentials were complete. My view overlooked the majestic banyan tree in the central courtyard, where I could also enjoy the nightly cultural performance. The room came with a fruit plate of bananas and oranges—a simple but thoughtful touch.
"Enjoyable but….."
This is a modern hotel in a pretty good location, just a 10–15 minute walk to the Old Market. The staff were very gracious and helpful throughout our stay, and the restaurant was decent, with the added bonus of musical and dance entertainment. However, there were a few downsides. The bed mattresses were very firm—which some may like, but we found uncomfortable—and the water pressure was inconsistent, even cutting down to a trickle for about 15 minutes during one shower. While the rooms are spacious, the lighting feels a bit too dim.
"Park Hyatt needs improvement"
Check-in was smooth and pleasant, with Ms. While Kin being very friendly and welcoming. However, there are several areas that could be improved to truly match the Park Hyatt standard. There were many mosquitoes both in the hallways and in the room. While the hotel does provide mosquito spray and liquid repellent, a more thorough pest control program is really needed. The room itself was stylish, but the floor level felt a little high and not very comfortable to walk on. Noise was another issue. Even at night, some street sounds carried through, and during breakfast, live music was played from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. While thoughtful, it felt too early and made it difficult to enjoy a restful morning. That said, the hotel has many priceless qualities. The historic charm of the building and its beautifully designed interiors are truly impressive. Unfortunately, the overall quality of sleep was affected by both the noise and mosquitoes. With some improvements, this property could easily deliver the luxury experience expected of a Park Hyatt.
"In the center of Siam Reap"
This is a very nice hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the sights in Siem Reap and just a 10-minute drive to Angkor Wat. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When our friends’ room wasn’t ready at check-in, the staff went out of their way to ensure we were all comfortable. A wonderful stay overall.
"Satisfied but overpriced"
We booked this hotel using points and enjoyed our stay overall. Service was excellent, and everything went smoothly. The highlight was definitely the happy hour, with a nice assortment of reasonably priced snacks like wings, olives, and peanuts with kaffir lime leaves. That said, if we had paid cash, we would have found the hotel significantly overpriced—not just for the rooms, but also for dining, spa, and transportation. Having stayed in Siem Reap on two other occasions, we feel there are plenty of alternatives that offer better value for money. While a good experience with points, it’s hard to justify the high cash rates.
"Expensive but beautiful"
Beautiful and pleasant hotel, though expensive by Cambodian standards. If you’re looking for a dependable and safe place, this is a great option—many staff members have been here for over 15 years, which speaks volumes. The Apsara dance in the main restaurant every evening at 7 p.m. is a special touch; one night I even had it all to myself. At breakfast, I noticed most of the guests were senior citizens (around 80%), largely from the USA.
Park Hyatt Siem Reap
A modern luxury hotel in the city center with elegant rooms, fine dining, and a beautiful pool. It blends contemporary design with Khmer influences.
