"Chaotic and Unsafe Service on DAMRI Serang"
DAMRI Serang’s service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. From Rangkasbitung, the bus departed before its scheduled time, and customer service was completely unhelpful. On the return trip from Tanjung Lesung, a bus meant for 14 passengers was crammed with 20 people. To make matters worse, the driver (Nana) demanded extra money from all passengers. The experience felt chaotic, unsafe, and frankly embarrassing for DAMRI’s reputation.
"Affordable Airport Transport"
If you’re looking for cheap and reliable transportation to the airport, this is the place to go. Convenient, cost-effective, and hassle-free for travelers on a budget.
"Disappointing Experience on Jakarta–Surabaya Bus"
My first experience on the Jakarta–Surabaya bus was very unpleasant. The schedule promised a 10-hour journey, but the bus was delayed by 12 hours, even though traffic was fine. The long delay seemed caused by multiple unscheduled stops for other passengers, leaving many empty seats along the way.
"Clean, Comfortable, and Well-Serviced Facility"
The place is well maintained and very clean. The prayer room is cool and inviting, the toilets are spotless, and the waiting area is comfortable. The canteen is orderly, the service staff are friendly, and there is convenient parking available. Overall, it provides a pleasant and hassle-free experience for travelers.
"Extremely Long and Inefficient Travel with Damri"
After purchasing a ticket through the Damri app, I immediately regretted it. The trip from Jogja to Kemayoran took an unbelievable 14 hours, despite traveling via the north and without traffic congestion. This was largely due to a 2-hour stop at rest areas and multiple detours to drop off passengers outside the toll road and at points off the main route, unnecessarily prolonging the journey. The SOP seems unclear, leaving other passengers at a significant disadvantage.
"Bus Toilet Facilities Vary by Vehicle"
I haven’t had the chance to ride a DAMRI bus yet, but I inquired about the toilet facilities. According to the DAMRI officer at the Kemayoran pool, whether a bus has a toilet depends on the specific vehicle operating that day.
"Serious Misconduct by Damri Driver – Personal Belongings Violated"
During my recent trip with Damri (Soehatta Airport – Harapan Indah Bekasi), my personal belongings were left on the bus and were opened by the driver. Items from my bag were taken out, and my food was eaten by the driver. This behavior clearly violates the company’s SOP. I request a formal follow-up and investigation regarding this driver, named Alex.
