"Worst reception ever."

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you want a stress-free holiday, do not come here. The reception staff are rude and unprofessional, showing no willingness to help with any issues. Housekeeping is only once a week, so if you make any mess, you’re on your own until then. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating stay.

"Our best family holiday ever"

We’re counting down the last few hours before our coach arrives, still fully enjoying all the facilities and our all-inclusive bands. Before coming, I read many negative reviews which made me worry, but I’m so glad I didn’t take them seriously—this has been our best family holiday to date. We are a family of six, and the resort catered brilliantly for all of us. The staff, from bar and reception teams to cleaners, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was fantastic every day, with plenty of variety that my four daughters loved. The entertainment crew worked tirelessly to keep everyone engaged day and night. Yes, there were occasional ants and a cockroach—nothing major, especially in hot weather. The pathways could use some relaying, but they were not as bad as some reviews suggest, considering the resort is the size of a small town. Sunbeds can get busy, but arriving early solves that. We were fortunate with our villa location, which made access easy, but even farther villas wouldn’t be a real problem. Overall, our 10-day stay was absolutely wonderful. Every day was enjoyable, and we can’t recommend this resort enough. Ignore the negative reviews—this place truly deserves praise.

"All inclusive"

Last day today, and I just want to put minds at ease for anyone worried by negative reviews. Our one-bedroom apartment was lovely, clean, and we had no issues with ants or cockroaches. We requested accommodation near the complex, and the hotel obliged, which we appreciated. The outside seating area was perfect for relaxing before going out, and the air conditioning worked well. The only minor annoyance was just one bathroom mirror, which can be tricky with multiple people getting ready. The pool is fantastic—my son loved it! The pool bar serves good beer, and the pizza is decent, though as all-inclusive guests we were surprised that hot food wasn’t included. This meant buying snacks for him when he didn’t want to leave the pool. Cocktails from the machine weren’t great, and the slides going off frequently annoyed him. The pool opens at 10 am, which allowed for a lie-in, but early risers might prefer an earlier opening. The buffet offered plenty of choices, and the bar staff were friendly, though the night bar had long queues due to only two servers. Outdoor seating for entertainment was limited, but we managed by moving chairs from inside. My son loved the entertainment, though we never found the chipmunks! A walk to Popcorn Beach is around 25 minutes and better if you have a car. Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday. The complex is busy, so expect queues, but the surroundings are lovely. Minor issues didn’t spoil our stay, and we made the most of our time. The adults-only pool looked amazing—wish we could have used it!

"Not recommended and wouldn’t go back"

We stayed here in August 2025 and, despite previous experience with many all-inclusive resorts, we were disappointed. We had a “superior” two-bedroom villa with a sofa bed. While clean, the rooms were very dated and bathrooms run down, showing little investment. It felt like the resort is winding down, as Pierre & Vacances contracts end in October. Catering was a major letdown. Options were limited, often resembling a staff canteen. All-inclusive was far from comprehensive—no branded alcohol, cheap mixers, and no hot drinks at lunch or dinner without visiting the bar. Bottled water and beach towels weren’t included, which felt unreasonable for the price paid. Staff were polite and helpful, though. Main pool opens at 10 a.m., so be ready to queue for a sunbed. Very few parasols meant getting a shaded spot was difficult. Smaller pools near the villas were unheated and had no shade, and toilets in these areas were unclean. Entertainment was repetitive, and the areas to watch were poorly located, with many guests smoking and vaping nearby. Bus access to the local town was good, and we did a short snorkelling trip to Lobos Island. The beach is rocky and windy, not ideal for young children. Few cockroaches were seen, but no infestation. Overall, if you’re already booked, be prepared for limited facilities, but there are many better resorts to consider.

"Nice place and kids loved the pools"

The villa we stayed in was lovely, spacious, and clean, although we did notice ants on the beds upon arrival. Being in a hot country, we expected some bugs, and fortunately, they soon disappeared. The kids absolutely loved the pools and spent most of the day there. Yes, you need to queue early for sun loungers—a first for me—but we managed by joining the queue. The pools themselves need maintenance, with broken tiles, chipped paint, and scum that remained all week. The adults-only pool, however, was amazing and very relaxing. We were able to enjoy a couple of hours there while the kids were in the club. The food was typical all-inclusive fare, with lots of fish and pork dishes. Kids mainly ate hot dogs and hamburgers, with limited variety. Breakfast was the highlight, especially pancakes, fruit, and cooked eggs. The restaurant offered self-serve drinks with proper Coke products, though drinks at the bar and pool were overly sweet and cheap. Ice cream was self-serve by the pool. A major downside was the lack of seating to watch entertainment; there simply weren’t enough tables or chairs for the complex. On the last night, we managed a table because there was no outside entertainment. Check-in staff were friendly and welcoming. We hired a car and would not stay here without one, as the location isn’t ideal for evening walks to shops. The resort is fine for a full week within the complex, and there is a shuttle service available, but personally, I would not return.

"A fantastic family holiday"

We had a fantastic time at the resort. Our children, aged 8 to 17, all loved the pools, and the entertainment team was brilliant—friendly, helpful, and full of energy. The kids especially enjoyed the foam party and other games and activities. The villas showed a little wear and tear but were very clean, making our stay comfortable. We hired a car, which we highly recommend, as it allowed us to enjoy evenings exploring Corralejo. We opted for self-catering, but the nearby towns of Lajares and Corralejo offered delicious dining options. Overall, it was a great holiday for families, with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained and a relaxing base for the adults.

"Inconsistent, and disappointing"

Our stay had mixed experiences. Staff were inconsistent—some were friendly and helpful, while others seemed uninterested or ignorant. Cleanliness also varied; we noticed multiple cockroaches, both dead and alive, especially in the restaurant toilets. Cutlery and plates were not always properly cleaned. Shockingly, on one occasion there was human feces on the toilet floor, which was extremely unpleasant. On the positive side, the lobby was pleasantly decorated, and the waterpark catered well to our child’s varying needs. The on-site doctor at the waterpark was friendly and very helpful. Evening entertainment varied, with some nights being poor but others reasonable. A safety concern arose when a sliding wardrobe door fell off its track as my child opened it, causing it to fall on him. We also noticed that other rooms had similar issues with tired, unstable wardrobe doors. Overall, while the waterpark and family-friendly facilities were good, inconsistent staff behavior, cleanliness issues, and safety concerns made the stay less comfortable than expected.

"You get what you pay for."

Great value for the price. The rooms are a bit dated but spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The food was somewhat limited and repetitive, though it tasted okay. The pools and slides were excellent for kids, keeping them entertained all day.

"Terrible"

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others about this hotel. While the reception staff are fine, almost everyone else is extremely rude. We are on an all-inclusive package, yet when requesting drinks or slushes, staff roll their eyes and are unhelpful. You cannot move tables to sit together at dinner, and many rooms have ants and cockroaches. Seating for entertainment is uncomfortable, and if you don’t get there early, you cannot see anything. The hotel is isolated with nothing nearby, and queues start at 9:30 for the waterpark. The adult pool has very few beds, and the smaller pool offers no drinks or snacks. Staff at the breakfast area, particularly the man in charge of eggs and pancakes, are exceptionally rude, monitoring portions and staring if you take more than two. Bar and snack staff also appear disinterested in all-inclusive guests, focusing only on paying customers. The pavements around the hotel are in disrepair, making it difficult to move luggage. Overall, this hotel is a frustrating and unpleasant place to stay. Based on my experience, it urgently needs improvement—or closure.

"Meh"

We had mixed experiences during our stay. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and assist. Special thanks to Nora, who provided great information about the island and entertainment, and Jill, who helped us arrange excursions when our tour rep was unavailable. The entertainment, especially the musicals, was energetic and fun, and the adult pool was lovely and warm. Unfortunately, there were numerous issues that affected our holiday. The room required significant maintenance—loose doorknobs, faulty shutters, a flickering light, a dirty sofa, and poor hot water. Ants, flies, and general cleanliness were ongoing problems, and daily housekeeping was inconsistent. The 200-euro deposit felt excessive for a room in this condition. The pools were very cold, often crowded, and poorly maintained, with broken tiles and debris. Sunbeds were limited, shade was minimal, and parasols were scarce. Food was inconsistent: breakfast was cold and uninspiring, pool bar snacks were minimal, and all-inclusive offerings were unclear. Some areas, like the outdoor tables and entertainment spaces, were overcrowded, especially when school groups arrived. Overall, while the staff and entertainment were highlights, the combination of poorly maintained rooms, icy pools, limited all-inclusive options, and overcrowding made the stay frustrating. It’s not a place I would recommend or return to.

"A fun family holiday"

Overall, we had a good experience. The property may be in need of a refresh, but we personally had no issues with our villa. The Crater Park was fantastic, though the pools were very cold, so our 6-year-old needed little breaks to warm up. Seating for evening entertainment was limited, so it’s best to grab a table early if you want to relax and watch the shows. The complex is in a very remote location, so renting a car is a good idea, although the free shuttle bus is available daily, and taxis cost less than €30 if you plan to stay out later. We probably wouldn’t return, mainly because we prefer to explore new places, but we wouldn’t discourage anyone from staying here. The staff we interacted with were excellent, especially Mario, who made us feel very welcome upon arrival.

"NO RECOMMEND!!!"

We do not recommend these apartments for anyone expecting good service, food, or treatment. The villas themselves are fine—welcoming, with working air conditioning—but cleaning is poor, done only once every three days. Upon arrival, we found dead bugs on the walls, which remained for three days. The buffet is of very low quality and variety; tables and floors were often dirty, and glassware was scarce, forcing us to use plastic. All-inclusive is not worth it. The children’s pool and slides were fine and entertaining, though some areas need repair. Adult pools looked nice but were inaccessible to us with a child. Pools open at 10:00, but you must queue from 9:00 to get a sunbed; arriving later means putting towels on the ground. Staff treatment was poor across the complex, except at reception. Restaurant and pool bar staff seemed annoyed when helping. The complex is large, so depending on your villa, it can be a long walk (ours was 500 meters) to reception, pools, or restaurants.
