"Crazy dough"

The pizza here is excellent, made with genuine, high-quality ingredients. We also tried the supplì, which we really enjoyed. The only point to note is that the price for pizza by the slice is somewhat high, but the quality makes it worthwhile.

"Good but no big deal."

I visited this shop for the first time because I loved the focaccia at their other location. Honestly, I spent €120 on good focaccia, but not at that price. On the positive side, the girl at the counter was very kind and attentive.

"Great pizza"

The pizza here is fantastic—highly recommended! I went with friends and family, and we shared a whole pie together. Be sure to try the Margherita; it’s delicious and a definite highlight.

"Very good but too long!!!"

The pizza here is very good, but waiting 30 minutes in line to be served just isn’t worth it. There are plenty of other excellent pizza options in Rome that don’t come with this hassle.

"What an expectation!!!!"

The pizza dough here is exceptional—thankfully—because the wait on a Saturday morning can be an hour long, which is frankly unbearable.

"Mystical experience!"

A truly mystical experience! The pizza was wonderful, with excellent toppings made from top-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly, well-organized, and attentive. The only downside is that the space is quite small, but the food and service more than make up for it.

"Reheated Pizza"

It’s a bit unfortunate that the pizza is only served reheated, leaving the cheese half-burned. It reminded me of buying a pizza at night and reheating it the next day—a “timberman’s pizza,” or what we’d call day-after-drunk pizza. You can taste that the raw ingredients are high quality and would make for a delicious experience if served fresh. The street-style vibe adds character, but the reheating and the relatively high price prevent me from giving a full 5-star rating.

"Just terrific pizza"

After visiting the Vatican, my family decided to stop here for some pizza slices, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. It’s a lively and fun spot for a quick bite, offering a wide variety of options to satisfy every taste. Hands down, it’s the best place for pizza slices we found in Rome. Be sure not to miss the pastries as well—they’re delicious! Truly a must-visit for anyone in the area.

"Row .. row and row again… once I accept, once I pass. It fits"

I’ve visited this pizzeria several times, and it’s unquestionably good, unique, gourmet, and yes, on the expensive side. My last visit, however, was memorable for all the wrong reasons—over 90 people were waiting, and the number system was confusing. We waited half an hour, grabbed some supplì to curb our hunger, then waited another half hour. Faced with spending the day in line or exploring Rome, we chose the latter since we had no other free days. The staff did their best, but the line is just too long, and at times the typical Roman bluntness comes through. If you can visit during less busy hours, you can enjoy excellent pizza—still pricey, but worth it. Otherwise, it can be frustrating, though sometimes it’s fun just for the experience.

"Very high quality, very high price, bad Service."

The quality of the pizzas here is very high, but so are the prices—ranging from €40 to €50 per kilo. The restaurant itself is very clean, but the service leaves much to be desired. Asking for simple information feels like a hassle, and after waiting in a line of about 40 people for an hour, we were told at 2:55 pm—along with all the other customers—that they were closing at 3:00 pm. Shortly after, the place was cleared out. High-quality pizza, but the experience is spoiled by the service and pricing.

Pizzarium Bonci

Rome’s most famous pizza al taglio spot, offering creative toppings and ultra-light dough by chef Gabriele Bonci. Great for a quick but unforgettable meal near the Vatican.
