"Dirty Trains and Poor Ticketing System"

The trains are very dirty, which is disappointing given that ticket prices are even slightly higher than ICC’s. What makes it worse is that their system isn’t connected to ICC, meaning you can’t use an ICC ticket on their trains even in cases like delays. This lack of coordination and cleanliness really affects the travel experience — both systems should work together to make passenger travel smoother and more reliable.

"Frustrating Delays and Unreliable Train Service"

The trains are always delayed, making the entire experience extremely frustrating and unreliable. I’m honestly thankful to have my own car, as it saves me from the constant inconvenience of depending on such poor service. At this point, it truly feels like passengers should be compensated for their time and patience rather than having to pay for this disappointing experience.

"Constant Delays and Poor Service"

The trains are constantly late, making travel frustrating and unreliable. Honestly, I’m glad I have a car — it’s far more dependable than dealing with this chaos. At this point, it feels like they should be paying passengers for enduring such poor service, not the other way around.

"Loud Signals and Poor Maintenance on Board"

The door locking signal is unbearably loud, making the ride uncomfortable at times. While the train does get you to your destination, the overall maintenance is lacking — the power sockets under the seats are loose and often don’t work or fail to make proper contact. It’s functional transportation, but far from a pleasant travel experience.

"Embarrassing Train Service with Poor Management and Safety Issues"

The train service on the Kartuzy – Gdynia Główna line is absolutely embarrassing. Onboard, a dog ran freely without a leash or muzzle, posing a serious risk to other passengers — all under the surveillance cameras. When I reported this to the Pomeranian Polregio Plant in Gdynia, the company denied the incident, claiming the train manager saw nothing. They cannot even review surveillance footage properly, which raises serious questions about staff competence. Another issue is the excessive ticket inspections in Pomerania, where up to three conductors per carriage check tickets, seemingly wasting resources while passengers face overcrowding. Many employees occupy multiple seats, leaving fewer for travelers, and no one appears concerned about passenger safety. When safety incidents occur, management dismisses complaints and assumes passengers are lying. Overall, the service shows poor management, unprofessional staff, and a lack of concern for passenger safety, making it a deeply frustrating experience.

"Overcrowded and Delayed Trains on the Tczew-Chojnice Route"

The Tczew–Chojnice route is a disaster. Trains are overcrowded, the air conditioning often doesn’t work, and delays are common, sometimes up to 25 minutes, usually because trains wait for others to connect. Entire trains can sit idle for just two passengers, and waits for connecting trains can reach 10 minutes. Fortunately, today the Pendolino wait was only five minutes, so no one missed their connection. Another major issue is passenger behavior: people often place their luggage on seats and ignore standing passengers. Only when politely asked do they sometimes move it — and often respond rudely. Overall, this route suffers from poor management, overcrowding, and a lack of consideration for passengers.

"Misleading Ticket Policies and Poor Customer Support"

Even though the PolRegio card is accepted by other carriers, it does not guarantee smooth travel. During my experience today, a conductor offered me either a 300 PLN fine or a standard ŁKA ticket, which was both confusing and frustrating. To make matters worse, PolRegio customer service was unhelpful. They couldn’t clearly confirm whether their tickets are accepted by other carriers, instead copying the terms and conditions and referring me to complaints about PolRegio services. This lack of clarity and support makes traveling with their system stressful and unreliable.
