"Best Service"

We left right on time, and the seats were perfectly comfortable — but what really stood out was the service onboard. The crew were helpful, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We were offered a tasty snack of cheese, salami, and crackers along with a drink, all served with a smile. A simple gesture, but it made the experience feel special. Great job to the team!

"Qantas premium economy service"

Unfortunately, my flight to Sydney with Qantas did not meet expectations. I encountered a rude male steward, a shorter, bald individual who was difficult to hear due to speaking very quietly above the cabin noise. After I asked him to repeat the menu, he gave me a look as though I had done something wrong, which was frustrating, especially as I had just woken from a deep sleep. Additionally, my seat was broken, and when I requested assistance, the steward muttered that it wasn’t listed as broken and seemed uninterested in resolving the issue. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing, especially for a premium service. Overall, it was a below-average experience with Qantas.

"Avoid Qantas ."

I used to rate Qantas highly but over the last five years or so they have imploded. In 18 months I have had 6 flights cancelled at short notice . Every airline has to cancel services due to technical issues on occasions but to do it because the flight is undersubscribed shows a complete disregard for their customers. I have just had another domestic flight cancelled at short notice which means I am unable to make an international flight costing me thousands. Qantas staff are generally excellent but the airline is now a joke.

"Terrible flight"

On our recent flight, the seat in front of my wife reclined far beyond what seemed normal and could not be returned to the upright position. Neither the cabin crew nor my wife could adjust it, and although the passenger in front was very apologetic and clearly uncomfortable with the situation, my wife ended up having a terrible flight. She was unable to sit properly or eat her meals due to the lack of space. In comparison, my issue was minor — the headset jack at my seat was faulty — but it added to the overall discomfort of the experience. This was a disappointing flight, and we hope t

"Indifferent qantas quality"

I checked the aircraft used for my flight and found that some of the planes were quite old, lacking modern amenities. Unfortunately, my luggage was picked up from Christchurch (CHC) in wet conditions, leaving my belongings soaked and in poor shape. Additionally, the entertainment screen was dull and stopped working halfway through the flight, which was frustrating. The overall experience could definitely be improved, especially when it comes to the condition of the aircraft and in-flight services.

"Smooth flight"

I booked this flight several months in advance, planning to spend Christmas with friends in Melbourne. On December 23rd, check-in in Adelaide was easy with no crowds, and the complimentary access to the Qantas Club was, as always, a great start. The 70-minute flight to Melbourne was pleasantly smooth—much better than some of my previous bumpy experiences. Service on board was solid. One surprise was that Platinum members were offered the chance to choose from the menu before others in Business Class, which was a nice touch. With only 12 seats in the cabin, service did feel a bit rushed, but still efficient overall.

"Terrible company. Very poor customer service."

Our flight was cancelled due to weather — a safety-first decision that I completely respect. However, what followed was a cascading sequence of apathy, dismal service, and outright incompetence. Hours were spent listening to repetitive elevator music, broken only by scripted apologies, as I attempted to navigate QANTAS’ customer service — which, in my experience, is the worst of any airline globally. The lack of meaningful support seemed to stem from a place of complacency, likely fueled by the airline's limited regional competition. One month later, I’m still chasing compensation for basic expenses incurred as a result of services not provided. I’ve sent countless emails with barely a response. The leadership clearly sets the tone, and it's no surprise that QANTAS has tumbled to one of the lowest-ranked airlines. It’s a shame to see a once-proud airline in such a state.

"Poor Customer Care"

I flew at the end of April and had an extremely disappointing experience with Qantas Frequent Flyer customer service. I attempted to contact them three separate times, each time waiting over 30 minutes on hold. On all three calls, I was given different reasons as to why my ticket couldn’t be upgraded — despite the Qantas website clearly stating that my fare class was eligible for an upgrade. On my final call, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The agent placed me on hold again, and after another 30 minutes, no one responded — I eventually gave up and hung up. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a Frequent Flyer member. It’s frustrating to encounter such poor communication and inconsistency when trying to access a benefit that should be straightforward.

"Five stars for the London based crew"

This was my second sector on the way to London after flying on QF291 operated by Finnair. I had 6 hours in Singapore before continuing on QF1 to London. My time in Singapore was enjoyable, and the Qantas Lounge was a nice place to relax before boarding. Boarding was smooth, and I settled into my Premium Economy seat at the back of the upper deck of the A380. The seat was comfortable—slightly better than the one I had on the Finnair flight. It also had charging points, storage, and a nice pillow and blanket. The food was outstanding. I had seafood linguine for dinner, followed by a delicious hot breakfast before landing. They also had Fazer (Finnish chocolate) in the larder, which was a nice touch to grab when you wanted it. The movie selection was good as well, and I managed to get about 7 hours of sleep, which was fantastic. The highlight of the flight, however, was the cabin crew. The London-based crew were exceptional—polite, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. It’s a noticeable contrast to the often grumpy Australian international crews. If the Australian staff could receive training from this team, it would make a significant improvement in the overall experience. Better yet, it would be amazing if the London crew could be on the flight all the way to Sydney! Overall, a great flight thanks to the crew, and I’d highly recommend this experience!

"Comfortable flight in the Embraer 190"

I had a comfortable flight from Canberra to Adelaide on the Embraer 190, seated in 13B and 13C. The assistance at check-in was smooth, and I was pleased with the efficient bag drop and transfer for my onward flight to Perth. Boarding was easy and well-organized. The in-flight snack and wine were a nice touch, and the cabin crew were pleasant and friendly, making the flight even more enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant and stress-free experience.

"Qantas Experience"

I had a long direct flight of 12 and a half hours, and unfortunately, the experience was not as comfortable as I had hoped. The legroom was limited, making the flight uncomfortable. The food was satisfactory, but nothing exceptional. However, I must commend the flight attendants on both my outbound and return flights. They were all incredibly kind, soft-spoken, and helpful. Their dedication to providing great service made a significant difference, and I truly appreciate their efforts.

"Fly it! It’s amazing"

Qantas is a fantastic airline, especially when it comes to entertainment. They offer a great selection of movies, including ones that haven't even been released yet. The food is also quite good, making the flight experience even better. As the national airline of Australia, Qantas does a great job connecting passengers to various destinations across the globe. Highly recommend it!

"Kalgoorlie to Perth"

We had a reasonable flight on a Fokker 100/75. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the flight enjoyable. The pilot did an excellent job managing the landing, especially considering how bumpy it was coming into Perth. Great job to the crew for keeping everything under control!

"QANTAS IS THE WORST AIRLINE"

Hey everyone, I recently booked a Qantas flight to Ballina instead of Jetstar, and it was a shocking experience. When I got to the tarmac, the plane was tiny, I couldn't even stand up, and it had propellors! I felt so claustrophobic, and the flying time took much longer than expected. It was an absolute disaster, and I’ll never fly Qantas within Australia again. Don't make the same mistake!
