"Mixed Experience – Cute Spot with Some Hits and Misses"
The ice cream had a nice homemade taste, and my friend’s Nutella and raspberry dessert was delicious. However, the gluten-free waffle was very stale — definitely not enjoyable. The bubble tea also missed the mark; the tapioca seemed old or possibly even coffee-flavored gelatin. On the brighter side, the place has a fun, colorful aesthetic and a creative vibe with the coloring activity. A cute spot overall, but the food and drinks were a bit hit-or-miss.
"Disappointing Return Visit – Inconsistent Portions and Unprofessional Service"
I was excited to return to Qucharitas after a great first visit earlier in the week with friends, where we enjoyed generous scoops of tasty ice cream. Unfortunately, my second visit was a letdown. For nearly 17 soles, I received what amounted to barely a single scoop — a stark contrast to my previous experience. I even have photos from both visits showing the clear inconsistency in portion sizes. When I politely asked the staff about the difference, the server’s response was not only unprofessional but inappropriate. He claimed that coworkers may have given me more last time because they “thought I was pretty,” but that he sticks strictly to measurements. He added that since he didn’t see me during preparation, he wouldn't give “anything extra.” This comment was unsettling and highlighted deeper issues — both my male friend and I noticed the same portion discrepancy. It's disappointing to see such inconsistent standards and inappropriate behavior. I hope Qucharitas seriously reconsiders its customer service practices to ensure future guests are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of appearance.
"Delicious Vegan Ice Cream and Friendly Service"
Amazing vegan ice cream with a wide variety of fun and unique flavors — especially those made with local fruits! It was such a fun and tasty experience that we came back two days in a row. Special thanks to our server, Nayadream, who was incredibly sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!
"Great Crepe, Disappointing Service Over Coffee"
I stopped by for a crepe and was impressed with the variety on the menu, especially the ice cream options. The Nutella and banana crepe was excellent — perfectly sized and well-balanced. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of being given a mandala to color while waiting. Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. I ordered a soy latte but found it below standard and let the staff know I wouldn’t be drinking it. Instead of handling it with understanding, several staff members approached me, and one was particularly patronizing. Despite not touching the latte, it remained on the bill. I paid it, as I had ordered it, but a little empathy would have gone a long way. After that, the vibe shifted. The staff seemed to avoid me, and it took multiple attempts before I was able to pay by card. In short: the food was great, but the handling of a simple complaint turned an otherwise pleasant visit into an uncomfortable one.
"Delicious Alpaca Tacos and Outstanding Service"
We were drawn in by a sign advertising alpaca and ended up having a fantastic time! The alpaca tacos were unique, fun, and full of flavor. Our server, Joaquin, made the experience even better — he was incredibly friendly and absolutely fluent in English, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the excellent service!
"Creative Presentation, Average Ice Cream, and Mixed Service"
Qucharitas is a pleasant enough spot for ice cream, with flavors that are decent but not especially memorable or unique. The real standout is the creative and visually appealing presentation, both in the dishes and the menu. We enjoyed the fun touch of receiving drawings to color while waiting — a charming detail — but the service left something to be desired. We asked the server three times about an iPhone charger, and despite promises to check, we never got a response. Overall, it’s a decent stop if you’re nearby and craving a sweet treat, but not a must-visit.
"Relaxed Atmosphere, Tasty Food, and Excellent Service"
A great lunch find! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, and the menu offered a good variety. We tried the alpaca burritos and a beef burger — both tasty and satisfying. What really stood out was the service. Daniela, our server, was enthusiastic, efficient, and genuinely friendly, making the experience top-notch. Wishing her all the best in her dream of becoming an actress!
"Irresistibly Creamy Ice Cream Delight"
The ice creams were incredibly creamy and absolutely delicious, with a fun variety of flavors to choose from. I can’t wait to come back for my next one! 💜
"Cozy Spot for Ice Cream Lovers of All Kinds"
This is a lovely and cozy place to enjoy with family, friends, or your special someone. You can customize your ice cream just the way you like it, with a wide variety of flavors and tempting desserts to choose from. They also offer delicious vegan options that are definitely worth trying!
"Disappointing Experience – Allergy Concerns Not Taken Seriously"
I had a very disappointing experience here due to poor handling of food allergies. Many of their ice cream options contain nuts, and I clearly informed the staff about my nut allergy. Despite this, the server initially recommended a Nutella flavor. I reminded her again about my allergy and opted for a mint flavor instead. However, I saw them preparing my order on the same base used for Nutella, which made me uncomfortable. When I asked them to clean the base, the server seemed annoyed. Ultimately, I cancelled my order because I didn’t feel safe — my allergy concerns were not taken seriously.
