"Lovely little place. Highly recommend. Busy, good atmospheric lovely food, reasonably priced."

A lovely place for a bite to eat, offering very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is pleasant and lively, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a highly recommendable spot for a casual, enjoyable meal. I can also make a slightly more engaging version that emphasizes the vibe and affordability if you want.

"Familiarity is not always quality"

If you want to explore the “canned or lata” tapas culture, this is the place to try. However, that also means there’s little fresh produce, and some dishes feel over-engineered with small pieces heavily dressed in pre-prepared oils and sauces. The décor reflects an old-school tapas bar, giving it a traditional charm. The atmosphere is lively, but we found the one-hour time limit a drawback—it’s enough for a quick aperitif and tapa, but it takes away from the leisurely “ir de tapas” experience. Seating can also be cramped, especially between the bar and the front window. Overall, while it’s an interesting concept, there are cozier spots in town with better tapas.

"Well worth trying"

This is a stand-up-only spot, tightly packed with people, which makes for a warm, fun, and jovial atmosphere. We went with a good friend and had an absolute blast—chatting with fellow diners, tasting everything, and soaking in the energy. Most items are canned or dried, though there are some fresh options, like the bread. What really stands out is the inventive flavor combinations—you wouldn’t expect them to work, but they do, and beautifully. Small bites, excellent wine, and a chance to engage with everyone around you made for a fantastic night. A truly unique and memorable experience.

"Creative canned food"

Everything we tried comes from a can—none of the dishes are freshly prepared. The rustic ambience and friendly service earn a couple of points, but otherwise, the experience feels very touristy with below-average food quality. I was quite surprised by the overall positive reviews.

"STANDING ROOM ONLY"

This place offers a truly unique experience—it’s standing room only, with just a few high tables for 2–3 people and a couple of bar counters that fit around 8 guests side by side. Food arrives quickly, and the service is friendly and efficient. While many of the tapas ingredients come from cans, the chefs add their own creative twists with in-house sauces and marinades, making each bite surprisingly flavorful and memorable.

"Fun and delicious, but double check the charges!"

The tapas and house vermouth here are absolutely delicious, and the tiny space creates a very friendly, social atmosphere where everyone is happy to mingle. However, a major drawback is that we were overcharged—twice the correct amount. Despite contacting the restaurant immediately via voicemail, Instagram, and their website, we never received a response or any attempt to fix the issue. So, while the food and ambiance are fantastic, make sure to ask for a detailed list of charges before paying to avoid any surprises.

"Nice but too expensive"

The tapas here are very nice, though on the pricier side at €3.50 each. We especially recommend the prawn and salmon options, which were excellent, and also enjoyed the beef and cockles. While the quality is good, the portion sizes make the price feel a bit steep. Still, it’s worth trying for a flavorful tapas experience.

"Just average"

We decided to visit based on the reviews, and the atmosphere was fun. The restaurant is very small and cramped, so I’d recommend going during lunchtime for the best experience. It’s a cool concept, though I agree with other reviewers that it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area, but not a place to go out of your way for.

"Totally overrated …"

This place used to be a special spot reminiscent of traditional Spanish village eateries, but it is no longer an insider tip. It’s now overcrowded, cramped, and a mass tourist location. We tried 8 or 9 tapas, but only the salmon and calamari stood out in flavor. Unfortunately, they’re not very shareable, served on very dry crisp bread rather than toasted bread, and the pan con tomate suffers from the same issue. With no kitchen, all tapas are served cold—something to keep in mind. Overall, it’s a one-time visit; there are many better ways to enjoy tapas in the city, whether seated or standing.

"“Tin Fish Summer” aaaah, Delicious!"

Chef Michael Motamedi’s IG content “Tin Fish Summer” led us to this incredible family-owned spot, and it did not disappoint! The owner personally guided us through their phenomenal recipes, making the experience even more special. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the tapas were easily the best we had all week. The wine selection was excellent—we even grabbed a couple of bottles to enjoy back at our hotel. Without a doubt, this is one of the best spots in all of Barcelona. Don’t miss it!

A tiny, standing-room-only tapas bar known for its montaditos (small sandwiches) and excellent wine selection.
