"An Outstanding Hotel"
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Having traveled extensively in Asia, this is undoubtedly one of the best we have stayed in. The true heart of the hotel is the staff, who were fantastic without exception—from airport transfers and reception to the bar and breakfast teams. Breakfast was excellent, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Special praise goes to the bar staff for their exceptional cocktails, particularly at happy hour. All our temple trips were organized through the hotel, with reliable drivers and tailored itineraries, making the process seamless and reasonably priced. The location is perfect—near the river on a quieter side, yet within easy walking distance to the livelier evening areas. This hotel is a gem where you instantly feel at home, welcomed, and well cared for—truly the best in Siem Reap.
"A very authentic and cozy hotel in the middle of Siem Reap."
A very authentic and cozy hotel located in the heart of Siem Reap. The central swimming pool, surrounded by lush vegetation, provides a peaceful retreat, and the location is excellent—within walking distance of the markets and the river. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are well cleaned, and breakfast is made to order each day and is enjoyable.
"Beautiful hotel & exceptional staff!"
My husband and I stayed at Rambutan during our honeymoon in October 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and caring, warmly welcoming us even though we arrived late at night via their car service. The rooms were exceptional, with beautiful design details like window shades and ceramic holders for toiletries that made everything feel special. Every staff member—from the front desk to the restaurant and transport team—provided impeccable service, making Rambutan truly feel like a 5-star hotel. A delightful bonus was the cutest Shiba Inu, the owner’s dog, whose presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
"Hidden gem in city center"
A very nice and cozy hotel, tucked away in the heart of Siem Reap, just a 10-minute walk from the city center markets. The property is split across two locations, both featuring a pool and dining area. While the rooms are slightly aged and could use a fresh coat of paint, they are well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly and service-minded, making the experience even more welcoming.
"Group then solo, best experience"
I absolutely loved this place! I first stayed with a group and thoroughly enjoyed it, then returned solo for three nights and was blown away by the staff’s friendliness, humor, and genuine care—they are truly exceptional. The location is perfect, with a cute coffee shop around the corner and the night market just across the street. The TUK TUK service at affordable rates, the fabulous pool, relaxing massages, and amazing food and drinks (mocktails included!) made my stay even better. Laundry service was convenient, and everything ran smoothly. One note: if you have mobility issues, request a first-floor room, as the stairs to the second floor can be challenging. Overall, the staff were wonderfully accommodating, and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more for anyone visiting Siem Reap.
"Almost perfect"
For our first stay at this hotel, we felt a very warm welcome right from check-in. Beautifully decorated and nestled in the heart of Siem Reap, the property features a relaxing swimming pool—perfect for hot days or after tours, which were efficiently organized by the helpful reception staff. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent. The only minor drawback was on our departure day, when the waiters arrived late, limiting our enjoyment of the farewell breakfast as our taxi to the airport was waiting.

After a day exploring the temples, the centrally located swimming pool is perfect for relaxing with a cocktail from the adjacent bar and restaurant. A standout feature is the exceptionally friendly and helpful Rambutan team, who cater to every need and start your day with the warmest, most welcoming smiles.
"Nice smaller boutique hotel"
The hotel is a nice, centrally located option in Siem Reap, within easy walking distance of restaurants, the Old Market, and the night market. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. Our room was cozy and spacious, though the bathroom was quite narrow. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly made à la carte options and great coffee. There is a small pool, though it was on the cooler side. A note for accessibility: the hotel is not suitable for those with mobility issues, as there is no lift and the stairs are steep. Overall, we had a lovely 3-day stay.

A truly wonderful and beautiful resort, offering a charming atmosphere throughout. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly helpful, and the tours and drivers arranged by the hotel were excellent. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!
"Detailed review of Rambutan Resort"
This hotel offers a comfortable and atmospheric stay in an excellent location, within walking distance of many restaurants, Pub Street, and easy-to-find, affordable tuk tuks for farther trips. I stayed in a striking two-level room with a balcony, bathtub, and sunbeds—very “Instagrammable” and cozy, though some essentials were slightly lacking. The mattress was comfortable for a good night’s sleep, and the internet worked flawlessly. Minor issues included mosquitoes despite precautions, A/C blowing directly onto the bed, and limited toiletries in the bathroom. Water is refilled daily in glass bottles, and the fridge is very cold and quiet. The pool area is central and inviting, easily accessed from the rooms. Breakfast is a mix of free-flow and à la carte, tasty but a bit repetitive after several days. The staff were extremely helpful, assisting with arranging a private car to Phnom Penh at a great price. Overall, a stylish, well-located hotel with attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere.
