"Nice place in great location"
A lovely small boutique hotel located right in the main square, making everything easily accessible. The staff were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a place in the Trastevere area that feels more like a home away from home, this is an excellent choice.
"Perfect stay in every way!"
Everything about our stay was fantastic. The small hotel is perfectly located in the vibrant Trastevere area, close to great restaurants and within a reasonable walking distance to many of Rome’s attractions. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. The staff deserve the highest praise for being exceptionally kind and helpful with advice. Self check-in was easy to follow. We would happily stay here again! For reference, we took the Leonardo Express from the airport to Termini, then boarded the H bus at section C, which dropped us less than a five-minute walk from the hotel—a very manageable distance even with carry-on luggage.
"Nice hotel"
A lovely little hotel with authentic Italian style. Despite visiting in July—when Rome can be very hot—we were comfortable thanks to both the ceiling fan and the air conditioning. The area was peaceful at night, and there were plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.
"Great home base for Rome"
We stayed here in July and absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially as we had to reschedule our trip three times due to COVID. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with plenty of space for our week-long stay. Located in the heart of Trastevere, it’s close to restaurants, bars, and even a bike rental shop—perfect for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

A delightful property located just behind the square of Santa Maria in Trastevere, featuring vintage chic rooms equipped with every comfort. The hotel is quiet, refined, and impeccably maintained, including the common areas, with maximum cleanliness throughout. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and accessing the property was easy with door codes. The location is perfect for exploring the charming local area or venturing into the center of Rome. Highly recommended for future trips!
"Excellent family friendly hotel in Trastevere near Rome Center"
We stayed here as a family of four for a few days while exploring Rome. The hotel is just outside the city center in the charming Trastevere neighborhood. Most attractions were walkable, though reaching the Vatican took about 35–45 minutes; an Uber to the Vatican or the train station cost around €40–€45. The rooms were cozy but had limited outlets for charging electronics. There is no full-time staff, but accessing the room was simple, and the staff we met in the mornings were friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t have much time to explore the neighborhood, there were plenty of great dining options and excellent shopping nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a quaint and pleasant hotel located right in the middle of trendy Trastevere. The rooms are a bit small and dated, but they have everything you need, including air conditioning. Although some reviews mention neighborhood noise, we personally didn’t hear anything. The location is unbeatable, and the self-check-in process made our late arrival completely hassle-free. If you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay, I would definitely recommend Residenza San Calisto!
"Perfectly charming"
We absolutely loved this charming little hotel. The location in Trastevere is incredibly convenient, and the room was a good size with an excellent bathroom. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. The only reason for not giving five stars was that the bed was a bit too hard and lumpy for my taste. Otherwise, it was a perfectly delightful stay.

This charming hotel is in a great location for those who don’t mind a short walk to the historic center and want a more local neighborhood vibe. The area is full of restaurants and cafés, and the hotel itself is tucked away on a quiet side street. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. Nearby, you’ll find fantastic gelato at Fior di Luna, delicious Mexican at Pico’s, and traditional Italian at Come ‘Na Vorta Pasta & Vino. While the area is lively at night, the hotel remains peaceful inside. Highly recommended!
