"Misleading Service and Poor Customer Support"

The airline is deceptive. They sold us tickets for children, confirming that unaccompanied minor service would be provided. However, after purchasing, they informed us that they cannot offer this service and that the money is non-refundable. Essentially, SAS sold tickets for a service they are unable to provide, knowing that a child cannot travel alone. Customer service is also very poor—it’s difficult to reach them by phone, and almost nothing gets resolved.

"SAS Stands Out Among European Airlines"

On balance, compared to other airlines flying within Europe, I’d say SAS is one of the best. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely up there at the top. That said, checking luggage at Heathrow can be an awful experience.

"Disappointing Experience with Uncomfortable Seats and Rude Staff"

The economy seats were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced on any airline. To make matters worse, some of the flight attendants were rude at times. I won’t be flying with this airline again unless it’s absolutely the only option to reach my destination.

"An Outstanding Experience with SAS – Scandinavian Airlines"

My recent journey with SAS left me thoroughly impressed. From booking to stepping off the plane, every detail was handled exceptionally. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, with staff showing professionalism and warmth. Onboard, the cabin crew exceeded expectations with their attentiveness and dedication to passenger comfort. The in-flight experience stood out with an extensive entertainment selection and remarkably high-quality meals that set a new standard for airline cuisine. The aircraft was impeccably clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable journey. I also deeply appreciate SAS’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability. Knowing they actively work to reduce their carbon footprint gives me confidence in choosing them for future trips. In short, SAS provides an outstanding travel experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. Their focus on service and sustainability makes them a top choice for any traveler, and I’m already looking forward to my next flight with them.

"Booking Process Frustrating Due to IT Issues"

The booking process with this airline was a nightmare. It took multiple attempts and countless hiccups before I finally managed to secure a seat. They seem to have significant IT issues that make what should be a simple process unnecessarily stressful. This definitely needs improvement to match the expectations of modern travelers.

"No Contact Options for International Travelers"

Is there even an email address for international travelers to get in touch? There’s nothing listed on the website, and there are no online request forms available either. It’s incredibly frustrating trying to reach out without any clear contact options.

"Terrible Experience – Avoid This Airline"

This was by far the worst airline I have ever used. On my journey from Stockholm to Bergen/Oslo, my flights were cancelled twice, and there was no information provided about the cause. We ended up waiting at the airport for 12 hours with zero updates. Initially, customer service advised me to apply for reimbursement as per EU regulations for cancelled flights. However, they later refused, claiming the cancellations were due to weather – despite other flights to the same destination operating normally that day. There’s absolutely no sense of responsibility. Most employees seemed intent on passing the buck rather than helping. If I could give a minus five stars, I would. Even though I live in Stockholm, I will never use this airline again. They do not comply with their own refund policies or EU regulations and fail to communicate with passengers. It feels like the most fraudulent airline in Europe. Avoid at all costs.

"Scandinavian Airlines Head Office in Frösunda"

The head office for Scandinavian Airlines is located in Frösunda, Stockholm. It’s in a great location with beautiful surroundings, including the nearby Hagaparken, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere.

"Poor Communication and Frequent Cancellations with SAS"

Our flight from New York JFK to Copenhagen was cancelled just a few hours before departure, and SAS never sent us any official communication—no email, no text. At the airport, there were no SAS staff available to assist, and their customer service was completely offline. Without informing us, they rebooked us on another airline’s flight to Helsinki, which departed an hour earlier than our original flight. Luckily, we had arrived at JFK early enough to catch it. The staff of the other airline weren’t surprised, commenting, “They cancel flights every day,” in reference to SAS. After reaching Helsinki, our connecting SAS flight to Copenhagen was also delayed by over an hour. Overall, a very stressful experience caused by SAS’s poor communication and reliability.

"Last-Minute Cancellations and Poor Flexibility"

SAS cancels flights at the last minute, and my recent experience trying to reschedule was extremely frustrating. Even after paying more for a flexible ticket to change the date, the process was unnecessarily complicated and stressful. That’s really disappointing and not the level of service I expected.
