"The sun is shining on cambodia and her people."

We absolutely loved our stay at Shinta Mani. The intimate atmosphere made it feel so special. Our ground-floor room was simply amazing—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and with a super comfortable bed. Having direct access from our balcony to the gardens and sparkling pool was a real winner for us. Just a few steps and we could enjoy the crystal-clear water surrounded by lush greenery. Walking to the restaurant along the open pathway, with lotus flower decorations and warm greetings from the staff, made us feel welcome every time. The comfort and service here are truly unforgettable. On our first trip to Cambodia, we fell in love not only with Shinta Mani but also with the Cambodian people. From tuk-tuk drivers to hotel staff, shopkeepers, and restaurant teams—everyone made us feel happy and valued. Love, love, love Shinta Mani!

"A wonderful experience"

Our first visit to Siem Reap was made even more memorable thanks to this hotel. The room was wonderful, the food excellent, and the staff were professional, obliging, and truly exceptional. A special thank you for accommodating our late checkout — it was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be returning!

"One of life’s truly great Bucket List locations"

Siem Reap is one of those little treasures the world is only just beginning to rediscover, with the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple as its centerpiece. This beautiful hotel is the perfect retreat after exploring the many wonders of the area. The staff across all areas are polished, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Only in Cambodia can you experience such decadence at such incredible value. This is truly a 5-star resort in every sense, and the tasting menu at the on-site Kroya restaurant is an absolute must.

"Nice hotel"

We stayed here while in town for the Angkor Wat Half Marathon and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff who delivered excellent service throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, offering both a buffet and à la carte options with tasty dishes to choose from. On race day, the thoughtful gesture of having coffee, tea, and bananas available in the lobby early in the morning was much appreciated. The only downside was the shower, as the water pressure was very weak and the temperature was only lukewarm at best.

"Just absolute top in all matters."

We stayed three nights with our two children at Shinta Mani (two Deluxe rooms) and were absolutely delighted. The tasteful design flows through the entire property, from the beautifully furnished rooms to the stylish pool area. Breakfast was excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel felt both elegant and welcoming. What truly sets Shinta Mani apart is the service. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — a level of hospitality that is second to none. Kim, in particular, deserves special mention for going above and beyond, making our stay seamless and memorable. After just three days, it was genuinely hard to leave as the hotel and team had grown so close to our hearts. Thank you for everything — we hope to return very soon!

"So kind and helpful"

This hotel is beautiful, and the service was excellent — Jack was especially kind and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant served very good food, and the bed was comfortable with fantastic pillows. The only downside was the noise. Our room was near the pool area, which stayed lively, and the hotel’s proximity to the markets and Pub Street meant we heard music late into the night — even dance music until 2 a.m. on our first night. While this isn’t the hotel’s fault, it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer a quieter stay.

"Friendly lovey staff – dreadful post stay service"

Staff were all very friendly, and our room was lovely with a huge bed and a spacious shower. Being on the side near the volleyball courts across the road was a little noisy at times, but we enjoyed having access to the facilities in the building opposite (the villas, pool, and restaurant). The location was reasonable — about a 15-minute walk to the central markets, and tours picked us up with no problem. However, the post-stay experience has been dreadful. At checkout, we requested our guest folio and were assured it would be emailed. Five weeks later, we still haven’t received it. We’ve followed up twice using the online form with no reply, and when we tried to email using the address on their website, it bounced back as undeliverable. Nice stay overall, but the lack of response and follow-through has left a very poor impression. With so many other great options in Siem Reap in this price range, we would not return.

"Short after cruise stay"

We stayed here for three nights after a river cruise, and it worked well for us in terms of location and convenience. The room was comfortable and clean, though storage space was limited (no drawers) and the lighting felt a little dim. The pool area was pleasant and shaded, and we also had access to the larger pool at the Villas across the street, where breakfast was served. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, which made our stay enjoyable overall.

"Adequate but not overwhelming"

The hotel is quirky and probably one of the best in the area, with very large rooms that were a definite highlight. However, I found the strong aroma in the rooms quite overpowering, and the overall appearance was very dark. The swimming pool was fine, and we had a nice stay overall, but the scent and ambiance may not appeal to everyone.

"Nice boutique hotel"

This is a lovely boutique hotel, though I would personally rate it around 4 to 4.5 stars. The breakfast selection was fairly simple, but what truly stood out was the exceptional staff. We were initially disappointed because our travel agency failed to secure our booking at the Sofitel, despite placing the order three months in advance. By the time they tried, it was already fully booked—and unfortunately, they did not inform us. The Shinta Mani manager, although not responsible, apologized several times for the situation, which we greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the receptionist, Kim Hong, who was especially helpful. My husband also mentioned that the massage was outstanding. The pool area was very pleasant and added to the overall charm of the hotel.
