"Nice pool and rooftop bar, but overall disappointing"
The main drawback of this hotel is its location—it’s quite a distance from the river and the main market, as well as the nearby restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, the customer service didn’t fully make up for this. Before arrival, I had asked about leaving some extra luggage and a laptop, and upon arrival I confirmed these arrangements. I was disappointed to be told they had no proper storage and was offered an unlocked reception drawer for the laptop—a poor solution and clear miscommunication. On the positive side, the rooftop bar and pool area staff were very attentive and customer-focused, providing a pleasant and relaxing experience. While the facilities themselves are enjoyable, the service inconsistencies and inconvenient location may affect overall satisfaction.
"Good Location, Basic Breakfast, and Elevator Issues"
The room was spacious, featuring a comfortable bed and a large window that let in plenty of light. The bathroom was sizable with a tub, although the shower itself was quite small. The location is convenient, but traffic noise can be noticeable. The staff were somewhat courteous, but service was limited in some areas. With only one elevator serving 8–9 floors, waits were often frustrating. Breakfast was very basic, making it a functional but not exceptional stay overall.
"Good hotel with average services."
As a returning guest, I was disappointed to find that the staff seemed indifferent to repeat customers. Requests were met without going the extra mile, and overall service felt just average. Breakfast was also underwhelming, leaving much to be desired. On the positive side, the rooftop bar staff were noticeably more attentive and provided a better experience. While the hotel has its perks, don’t expect exceptional service during your stay.
"nice hotel"
This is a really nice hotel with comfortable rooms and a pleasant atmosphere—perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet is enjoyable, though the coffee could be better! The area outside the hotel is very busy with lots of motorbikes, so walking around isn’t ideal. It’s safest and easiest to use a tuk-tuk for getting around. Overall, a good place to stay, especially if you plan to spend most of your time enjoying the hotel itself.
"Nice rooms but not best location"
We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our room—it was beautifully designed, modern, and spotlessly clean. The rooftop pool and bar were fantastic, offering great views and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the hotel’s location was not ideal. Being away from the riverfront meant limited dining and sightseeing options within walking distance, with only one market and one shopping mall nearby. The staff were adequate but not particularly helpful. Overall, it was a decent stay, but we likely wouldn’t choose to stay here again due to the location and service.
"Phomh Penh, Cambodia"
Absolutely beautiful! The rooms are generously sized, uncluttered, and comfortable. The bathrooms are stunning—large with a deep bathtub and all the essentials you could need, including removable shower heads. The service was exceptional, and I honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about. On top of that, the price offers excellent value. I’ve stayed here several times and continue to highly recommend this hotel. The location is also very convenient, making it a great choice for anyone visiting the area.
"Overall good but room for improvement!"
We stayed here for 20 days and initially booked a deluxe room, later upgrading for $9 to get more space and a desk—well worth it, especially for a longer stay. The room on the 11th floor offered floor-to-ceiling windows and an amazing view. The location is convenient for exploring the city, and WiFi worked well once we moved rooms. Occasional power cuts occurred, but this is common in the area and not the hotel’s fault. The staff were friendly, though reception service was inconsistent. For example, they quickly helped with directions to a computer store when my charger broke, but were less helpful when I asked about the post office. The roof terrace was a highlight—staff were cheerful, food and drinks were nice, and prices reasonable. Some issues impacted the stay: the single elevator was frustrating, made worse by housekeeping repeatedly stopping on each floor unnecessarily. Tuk-tuk drivers outside were persistent and overcharged compared to app prices. Overall, it’s an okay hotel with excellent views and rooftop facilities, but in my view, it aligns more with a very good 3-star experience than a 4-star.
"The rooftop is worth the hotel"
A great hotel for its city location, offering large rooms—some with spectacular city views. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant are definite highlights and not to be missed. The only downsides were that room cleanliness could be improved in some cases, and with only one elevator, it was often busy, causing minor delays. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with excellent facilities.
"Nice Hotel but be aware your stuff"
The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by many restaurants, and the staff are generally friendly. However, be cautious with your belongings. During our stay, I lost a pair of jeans. When I reported it to the front desk, they asked housekeeping, who said they hadn’t seen them. Unfortunately, the item was never recovered. While the hotel has many positive aspects, this experience with lost belongings was disappointing.
"Sim Boutique hotel"
During my business trip to Phnom Penh, this hotel provided a wonderful experience. The food was tasty, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, featuring a beautiful balcony with stunning views. The housekeeping team was friendly and thorough, keeping the room immaculate throughout our stay. Overall, a highly comfortable and welcoming hotel for both business and leisure travelers.
