"Exceptional service from Adrian Ruiz!"

Adrian Ruiz is exceptional and a true asset to Sofitel Mexico City Reforma. My wife and I visited to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and unfortunately, our luggage was damaged during travel. Adrian, along with the hotel’s maintenance team, went above and beyond to repair the broken wheel on my large Rimowa suitcase. Their dedication and professionalism made this one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Thanks to their outstanding service, we will definitely be returning. Cheers to Adrian Ruiz—bravo!

"Nice place not good for Vegetarians"

The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms and thoughtful amenities. One of the highlights is the incredible view overlooking the iconic Ángel de la Independencia—waking up to that scenery is truly special. The room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and overall it was a relaxing stay. The shower was slightly confusing at first, but easy enough to figure out. The included breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. Having a 7-Eleven next door was also very convenient. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher is due to the limited restaurant options. Room service fees were more expensive than the food itself, and the portions were extremely small. Additionally, vegetarian and vegan choices were almost nonexistent outside of the breakfast/brunch service. If you’re staying at the hotel for work and plan to dine on-site, the lack of diverse options can be frustrating. That said, the staff was very friendly and most spoke English, which made the overall experience pleasant.

"Would visit again"

This lovely hotel impressed us with its beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, and excellent food. What truly stood out, however, was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping, the restaurant team, and especially the concierge—Diego and Roberto Chavly—were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their warmth and professionalism made the experience feel personal and welcoming. We would definitely return for another stay.

"My Citizen experience"

Good experience, the food lacks a bit of flavor but French bread is the best. The view is great for taking pictures.

"Perfect for sunset cocktails"

For my solo birthday trip to Mexico City, visiting this spot was absolutely the highlight. While a credit card is required to book, it’s worth every penny for the experience. The food was decent, but the drinks truly stood out—and let’s be honest, the real reason to come is the incredible view. Watching the city at sunset from here is breathtaking. The staff made the experience even more memorable—special thanks to Alejandro and Claudia for their kindness and attentiveness. I highly recommend splurging on cocktails here at least one evening; the combination of drinks, service, and panoramic city views makes it an unforgettable experience you won’t regret.

"Fine, but…"

We stayed three nights in the heart of Mexico City in a very modern building with a prime central location. The welcome from the reception team was courteous and professional, setting a positive tone upon arrival. The rooms have a unique, elongated layout with very modern décor. While the design is certainly distinctive, it felt a bit impersonal and lacked warmth for our taste. Of course, this is subjective, but we didn’t fully connect with the style. The breakfast buffet was extensive and high quality, offering a wide variety of options, although it was quite crowded at times. The pool area was pleasant and a nice place to relax. The major downside was the bar. The noise level was extremely high—so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation. We ended up leaving after just five minutes. Guests should also be aware that on the higher floors, the noise from the bar carries significantly and can be very disruptive. It’s definitely not ideal if you’re hoping for a quiet and restful stay.

"Sofitel our 2nd house"

Visiting Mexico City for the first time was an absolute delight. The hotel’s location was perfect, allowing us to explore the city on foot, visit numerous fascinating museums, and indulge in countless delicious tacos along the way. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the outstanding level of service. We would especially like to recognize Tomas, Regina, and Ingrid from the Club, whose warmth and attentiveness made us feel completely at home. Their engaging conversations and thoughtful local recommendations added a special touch to our experience and helped us enjoy the city like true locals. Their genuine passion and heartfelt dedication were evident in every interaction. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, don’t hesitate—this is an experience not to be missed.
