"Decent Stay but Falls Short in Key Areas"
The hotel itself was nice, as you’d expect from most Sonesta properties. However, the location is quite far from most attractions, and getting around the city isn’t easy, so planning ahead is essential. The included breakfast was disappointing and didn’t match the high quality of Peruvian cuisine typically offered at upscale hotels. On a positive note, the service was generally good.
"Frustrating Experience with Poor Reception Service"
We arrived at night with high-roof 4x4 vehicles and were extremely disappointed by the reception staff’s lack of coordination. Each person gave different instructions—one said to park in front of the hotel, another on the side, and then someone else insisted we park at the back. After our group dinner, when most had already gone to bed, we were told to move the cars again as it wasn’t safe and had to be done before 6 a.m. This caused unnecessary disruption and frustration. Overall, the counter service was truly disappointing and unhelpful.

"Disappointing Spa Experience"
The spa service was underwhelming. There was no hot water in the showers or jacuzzi, and the receptionist was unfriendly. We had to repeatedly ask for the included aperitif, which turned out to be just water with herbs and a few peanuts and raisins—without even a place to sit. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
