"Great Value"
Excellent customer service, clean, comfortable decent restaurant. Could use some cosmetic updating. Doormen extremely nice and helpful. Bed very comfortable, room and bathroom clean. Shower OK could use new head and valves. Room could use another chair.

This is a budget hotel in a convenient Roma area location. While the staff were friendly and the price was low, there are several drawbacks to note. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the room lacked basic amenities such as a mini-fridge, conditioner, and adequate towels—only one washcloth and no hand towels were provided for two guests. Noise was a problem, both from neighbors and from early-morning park events. Room keys frequently stopped working, WiFi information was not given at check-in, and the TV had limited channels. The hallway carpeting was unpleasant, and the hallway on the fourth floor was uneven. On the positive side, the location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and OXXO stores nearby. The room was reasonably clean, and the attached restaurant offered decent breakfast options. Overall, this hotel may suit budget travelers who prioritize location, but for a more comfortable stay, paying a bit more elsewhere might be worth it.
"Excellent value and location- perfect t to explore all of Mexico City"
This hotel offers excellent location and great value. Our room was spacious, though the bed was quite small for two people, and it lacked a mini-fridge and comfortable seating beyond a single desk chair. The price reflected these minor shortcomings. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the room was spotless and quiet on the 7th floor, with good ventilation. Getting around was easy, with Uber or taxi rides to any site—including the airport—costing less than $20.

The hotel has a great location and the staff are friendly, but the rooms leave much to be desired. WiFi is extremely poor—downloading emails was impossible. The rooms were smelly and poorly cleaned, and they lack basic amenities such as a mini-fridge. I stayed here for a week with my parents and would not return.

I’ve stayed here before, and it’s an old hotel with a traditional, old-style management approach—the kind of place you might have expected 30 years ago. The location is excellent in Colonia Roma, close to numerous restaurants, bars, and taquerías. The rooms are small but functional, and it seems some have undergone recent renovations, even though the hotel itself is likely 45–50 years old. Overall, it’s a solid choice: safe, reasonably priced, and very well connected for exploring the city.
