"Dirty floors"
I recently booked this hotel for seven nights, but upon check-in, I noticed the floor was extremely dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. This was a big inconvenience since I was traveling with a toddler. The hotel informed me that they do not provide housekeeping once you check in, blaming this on the pandemic. The hotel is very basic, and they offer extremely limited service, again attributing everything to pandemic measures. I chose this place because the pictures showed spacious rooms and the price was very low, but the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable. The location, however, is convenient and easily accessible.
"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"
This was our second time staying at this comfortable and welcoming hotel in Miraflores, Lima. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is good. There’s also a nice terrace with tables where you can relax a bit before going to bed. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything in Miraflores.
"Location is good"
The hotel’s location is very convenient, right in front of the bus stand, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious but only had a fan and no AC. There was no tea or coffee maker, and the staff were not very friendly, making communication difficult. Overall, it’s value for money, but don’t expect much in terms of service or amenities.
"Great hotel"
The overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and in good condition, and the staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Miraflores. If you book rooms in the middle of the hotel, away from the street, you won’t hear any noise at all. The buffet breakfast is truly the highlight of the stay. The cafeteria staff were always welcoming, and the variety of hot and cold dishes was impressive—the food was simply amazing. The only minor downside is that the hotel could use a bit of TLC in certain areas, but it’s a small detail compared to everything else. Highly recommended for both short and long stays! (La experiencia en el hotel en general fue excelente. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y en buen estado, el personal era amable y la ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de Miraflores. Si reservan habitaciones en el centro del hotel, que no den a la calle, no oirán ningún ruido. El desayuno buffet es la estrella del hotel, con gran variedad de platos fríos y calientes. Aunque el único detalle es que el hotel necesita un poco de mantenimiento en algunas áreas, ¡¡¡MUY RECOMENDABLE!!! Tanto para estancias cortas como largas.)
"Good hotel, late breakfast"
The hotel is in a great area and conveniently close to a supermarket. The beds were comfortable, but since we had early morning flights, we never tried their breakfast service. We bought food at the nearby supermarket, but it was difficult to borrow spoons as the staff are unavailable once breakfast service ends. Additionally, we experienced water heater issues—the temperature was impossible to regulate, swinging between freezing cold and scalding hot.
"Great service"
After several hours of traveling, we were happy to finally arrive at this hotel and stay for six nights—three before going to Machu Picchu and three after. The location is perfect, the food is good, and the rooms are comfortable with reliable internet. The maids are well trained, and the staff are very nice and always willing to help. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly option.
"the best location in Miraflores"
The rooms here are very spacious and impeccably clean, with the option to rent a heater if needed. The true highlight of this hotel is its location—right on Avenida Larco, the most beautiful avenue in Miraflores and one of the best areas in Peru. Everything you could need is nearby, including pharmacies, exchange houses, restaurants, bars, cafés, and even bowling alleys.
"Basic clean hotel in a great location"
We stayed here for a couple of nights before heading to Cusco, and it was exactly what we needed: a clean, safe, and conveniently located hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are basic but very clean, and the best feature is its location right on Av. Larco. It’s just a short walk to Larcomar, Kennedy Park, and several casinos, with plenty of amenities nearby such as pharmacies, banks, and grocery stores (including Metro just around the corner and Wongs and Vivanda a few blocks away). Larco is a busy main street, so if you’re seeking peace and quiet, you might prefer a smaller residential area. But if you want to jump right into the energy of Miraflores and don’t need luxury, this is a great option. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again for a short stay.
"It deserves less than 1 star.."
My boyfriend and I were supposed to stay for three nights, but we left early due to poor customer service, questionable stains on towels and bedsheets, and being placed in a noisy room. When we asked to be moved to a quieter room so we could get some rest, the staff simply suggested we stay another night in the same room despite the inconvenience. To make matters worse, when we called reception for guidance on using the safe for our valuables, they hung up without offering any help. Ultimately, we decided to check out early and book somewhere friendlier with better service, even though we lost money due to the no-cancellation/no-refund policy. If you want a hotel where you can come and go without handing in your room key each time, use proper toilet paper instead of tissues, and enjoy a more pleasant stay overall, I recommend looking elsewhere.
"Under construction, terrible service, rooms ok"
The hotel was undergoing major maintenance work during our stay, but the rooms themselves were tidy, spacious enough, and clean, with daily service. Unfortunately, the reception staff were simply unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, they ignored us, offered no helpful advice, and refused to arrange a city taxi, insisting instead on using their van service, which was more than twice the cost of an authorized Satellite taxi. When I insisted on calling the taxi company, they just handed me the phone and made me arrange it myself. This unhelpful attitude was consistent across both reception staff we encountered. The location is also not ideal unless you enjoy busy, noisy, and crowded avenues. During rush hours, expect it to take about an hour to reach the airport and nearly as long to get to the city center.
"Excellent Choice in Miraflores"
This 2-star hotel met my expectations very well. It has a nice terrace, good Wi-Fi, and offers a basic but satisfying breakfast. The rooms are quite spacious with comfortable beds, and the cleanliness was excellent. The bathrooms are renovated and very clean, which is definitely a plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel also provides laundry service. The televisions weren’t the best, but they had cable and worked fine, although we barely used them. Our room overlooked an inner courtyard—not the best view, but it did provide natural light. The best part of this hotel is its fantastic location, right next to Kennedy Park with excellent connectivity and nearby services. I would definitely stay here again.
"Something is not right here"
I stayed here back in 1987 and again in April 2016. While the hotel does have plenty of hot water and rooms come with a television, they are dusty and not well cleaned. The walls are very thin, and there was activity with people coming and going all night long, which was unsettling. The rooms start on the 3rd floor, the 2nd floor is sealed off, and the 1st floor has many empty business rooms. Although it’s conveniently located just two blocks from the Larcomar shopping center and priced at only 55 soles per night, I will not be returning.
