"Positive Experience with Swan Tours to Shimla and Manali"
We traveled to Shimla and Manali in March 2025 and had a generally pleasant experience. Our hotels were comfortable, though the food could have been better—especially for those seeking halal non-vegetarian options. The only downside was that our driver was a bit rude and asked us to walk to the hotel twice, showing limited interest. On the bright side, our agent Himanshu Pant was quick, responsive, and very supportive, making the planning and coordination of our trip smooth and easy. Overall, we would recommend Swan Tours for future travel.
"Good Experience with Swan Tours, But Communication Could Improve"
I had a pretty good experience with Swan Tours. The driver was the highlight—very professional, kind, and always on time. I would give them 5 stars for that alone. However, communication before the tour could have been better, especially as a solo traveler when I was a bit anxious about things going smoothly. The English-speaking guides were just okay, and two of them asked for tips, which felt a bit awkward since the tours were already paid for. Overall, a positive experience, but there’s room for improvement.
"Extremely Disappointing Experience with Swan Tours"
This was my first time visiting India, and I booked Swan Tours to make the trip easier—but it turned out to be my worst decision ever. The itinerary was exhausting, as we spent more time traveling than actually visiting places: Delhi → Amritsar → Manali → Dharamshala → Chandigarh → Agra → Jaipur → Delhi. The hotels were shocking. The Amritsar hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed in, and the Dharamshala hotel felt like an empty guest house with nothing nearby to visit except a pond under construction. We ended up canceling the Dharamshala and Chandigarh bookings because the rooms were unsafe. Even when we got better hotels in Manali, Agra, and Jaipur, it came only after I complained. On top of this, I was overcharged for two nights in Delhi, and the hotel I wanted was actually cheaper and available once I arrived. Online, these hotels may look fine, but the reality was far from it. Overall, the experience was stressful, poorly organized, and a waste of both money and time. I would not recommend Swan Tours to anyone.
"Enjoyable 3-Day Trip with Swan Tours"
We had a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day trip to Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The service from Swan Tours, organized by Kabir, was very helpful and ensured our vacation went smoothly. The hotels booked for us were satisfactory and met our needs comfortably. Our driver, Naveen, was polite, professional, and attentive throughout the trip. "Poor Customer Service – Avoid This Tour Operator"
I reached out to this tour operator, who call themselves the "Best Travel Agents in India," regarding their Delhi-Agra-Jaipur Golden Triangle tour. Unfortunately, their customer service was extremely disappointing. After an extensive 8-minute phone call with their representative, during which she took my name, number, and email, I still never received a quote. By the time I realized their inefficiency, I had already booked my tour with another agency. I cannot comment on their actual tours or transport, but their lack of responsiveness and professionalism makes them highly unreliable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
