"2 night stay"
We stayed here for two nights and, despite some concerns after reading previous reviews about dinner, we were pleasantly surprised. Our experience was very positive, and we would confidently rate this hotel as a solid 4-star by Cambodian standards. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good start to our days. While the hotel is slightly outside the main town, it’s only about a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away, making it convenient for sightseeing. Overall, a perfect place to stay when touring the temples.
"Three night stay"
I stayed here for three nights and found the location very convenient—close to many main attractions. It’s about a 25–30 minute walk to Pub Street and less than 10 minutes to the Angkor Museum. Tuk-tuks and taxis are also easy to find nearby. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and laundry services were available on-site, though a bit pricey since they charge per item. Breakfast was decent, but it was disappointing that cappuccinos weren’t available despite being listed on the machine. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good experience.
"Extended stay in Siem Reap"
I extended my stay in Siem Reap because of the hotel’s unbeatable convenience, great location, fair pricing, and exceptional staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble — every request was handled with politeness and professionalism. The team’s warm and courteous attitude truly made my stay enjoyable and stress-free.
"Back trip to siem reap"
This was my second time staying here, and it felt just as wonderful as my first visit. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely superb.
"Good location and easy tuk tuk available out front"
I stayed at this lovely hotel as part of a TripADeal tour and really enjoyed my experience. It’s just a short ride away from the famous Pub Street and plenty of great restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathroom was quite small, with the shower located inside the bathtub. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax and cool off from the heat, offering delicious cocktails and cold beer. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and good coffee. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved Siem Reap—there’s so much to see and do!
"Tata Angkor Hotel Oasis!"
We spent three nights at the Tara Angkor Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We also made use of the gym and massage facilities — the massage quality was truly excellent. A special mention goes to our restaurant supervisor, Theara, who was so engaging and lovely to talk to. She shared insights about Cambodian life that made our experience even more meaningful. We highly recommend this hotel, its amazing staff, and a visit to Cambodia — a beautiful country with such a rich and significant history.
"Good location for temple visiting"
This hotel was perfectly located — we were the last to be picked up for the sunrise trip to Angkor Wat, giving us a bit of extra sleep, and the first to be dropped off after long temple days, which was great for a quick shower and rest. The room was spacious, and the shower was excellent, though the mattress was a bit hard, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep despite being tired. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the pool was a welcome relief from Siem Reap’s heat and humidity. It’s also just a short taxi ride from town, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to stay.
"Good hotel for price you pay just needs to upgrade AC and would be perfect"
We really enjoyed our stay here and would have rated it a full 5 stars if not for the air conditioning, which worked but wasn’t quite strong enough. The hotel is in a great location — just a short $2–$3 tuk-tuk ride to the city center, and local drivers offer good prices for getting around. The room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed and a good shower. While the furniture isn’t modern, it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection, and the staff were all lovely — special mention to the doorman, who was always so welcoming. The pool area is small with only a few sunbeds, but we never had trouble taking a dip after our excursions, even though a few guests seemed to treat it as their personal exercise pool. Drinks were reasonably priced with a nice selection. We didn’t eat at the hotel, but other guests told us the food was good. There are plenty of affordable dining options nearby, from street food to the many restaurants on Pub Street. We highly recommend Mesa for its great cocktails and delicious food.
"Good place to stay, Siem Reap is richest culture in Asia"
It’s truly a great place to stay! The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of options to choose from—Asian, Western, and more—all served buffet style. Siem Reap is definitely a must-visit destination at least once in your life.
"Good hotel well situated charming staff"
This was our first experience in Cambodia, and although the hotel rooms initially appeared a bit dated with lots of dark wood, the place truly grew on us over the three days we stayed — just like the country itself. Everywhere we went in the hotel, the staff were incredibly respectful, kind, and hardworking, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered a good variety, and we especially appreciated the toasting machine that worked perfectly with just one round! We also enjoyed a light snack and some drinks by the pool, which was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Tara Angkor Hotel
A very good mid-range choice near the road to the temple complex; clean, roomy and convenient for exploring the ruins.
