"Unfriendly Service Despite a Comfortable Ride"

Had a trip from chiang mai to Bangkok. No stops so you don’t get to buy snacks or a drink or anything, they say toilet on the bus but nobody wants to use that. Yet the bus stops multiple times but you aren’t allowed off. Staff is blunt and rude beyond just the language barrier. Comfortable ride and decent ac but for the same price you can have the same experience but with nicer staff and a stop for a smoke or whatever you need with a different company for the same price.

"Bangkok to Chiang Mai Bus — Smooth Ride but Disorganized Process"

I purchased the cheapest round-trip ticket from Bangkok to Chiang Mai online. The ride itself went fairly smoothly, but the lead-up and boarding process were not well organized. After booking, I received an email days later claiming my payment hadn’t gone through and my reservation was canceled — despite the charge showing on my card statement. The email asked me to contact them if this was incorrect, which I did multiple times via email and phone, but never got a reply. On the day of travel, I braced for problems at the ticket desk, but surprisingly, my reservation was accepted with no issues. Departure, however, was another challenge. While delays are understandable in Bangkok traffic — especially during rush hour — there was no communication about the situation. No announcements, no updates on screens, and everyone waiting was left in confusion. Most passengers, including myself, had to keep going to the front desk for answers. Eventually, boarding began about 40 minutes after the scheduled time, and we left roughly one hour late. The bus itself was comfortable enough. They provided water and a small snack, plus one rest stop where food was at your own expense. We ultimately arrived in Chiang Mai about two hours behind schedule. Bottom line: Don’t plan anything immediately after your bus trip. Delays are inevitable, and the lack of communication can be frustrating. P.S. The bus terminal does have a prayer room, which may be helpful for some travelers.

"Poor Experience — Would Not Book Again"

I booked a bus ticket from Chiang Mai to Kamphaeng Phet. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the lady at the ticket counter — she was polite and very helpful. Unfortunately, everything else about the journey was disappointing. The toilet on the bus had no instructions on how to open or close the door, and there was no way to flush inside. At one point, the door jammed and I couldn’t get out for nearly an hour. There was no staff on board to assist in case of emergencies, which made the situation even worse. On top of that, the bus driver was extremely rude. This left me with a very negative impression of the company. I would not book with this bus company again if I ever have to travel in Thailand in the future.

"Great First Experience Traveling Solo in Thailand"

This was my first trip to Thailand as a solo Aussie traveler, and I took the bus from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. The ticket cost Bt$900 for the 8pm–6am overnight service. There were only three passengers on my Wednesday night trip, so I had plenty of space to stretch out and be comfortable. The seats reclined well, offered lots of legroom, and each had two USB charging points. On arrival, we received water, two small snacks, and a blanket. The bus made one stop around 1am where passengers could use a voucher for a free drink and food choice. I just got a water since I wasn’t hungry, but it was a nice option to have. I didn’t use the toilet so I can’t comment on that, but the cabin was clean with no bad smells. Overall, I was really happy with the service. The driver kept the ride smooth and comfortable, and for the price and amenities, I’d recommend this company for long-distance travel in Thailand.

"One Hour Late with No Communication"

We waited an hour for our bus, which was scheduled to arrive at 20:00 but didn’t show up until 21:00. Staff couldn’t provide a proper explanation for the delay and made no announcements to keep passengers informed. Overall, it was a very poor experience with unprofessional customer service 👎.

"Comfortable Ride but Terrible Staff"

The bus ride itself was smooth and the timing was decent, but the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. That ruined the overall experience. I would not recommend this company.
