"Classic NYC vibe"

We had a wonderful stay at The Bowery Hotel. The property is full of character and charm, offering the perfect blend of vintage style and modern comfort. The lobby is beautiful and cozy, and the overall atmosphere captures the essence of old New York in the best possible way.

"10/10, no notes."

There’s something truly magical about the Bowery Hotel. From its impeccable attention to detail to the comfort and intimacy it offers, everything feels thoughtfully curated. Every single meal and drink I had was flawless—10/10, no notes. One night here is surprisingly restorative. The Bowery remains perfectly itself, consistently delivering a unique and memorable experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, even if it takes another year—it will undoubtedly be worth the wait.

"Unbelievably nice retreat from the bustle of the city"

Our two-night stay in The Bowery Hotel in mid-August was absolutely heavenly, especially after coming from the Midtown chaos. From the start, we were thrilled with a complimentary upgrade that included a bathtub. The service throughout our stay was outstanding, and the thoughtful little touches throughout the hotel made us feel truly cared for and at home. Dining at Gemma was also a fantastic experience. We couldn’t have been happier—The Bowery is now our go-to hotel whenever we visit New York City.

"Recommended!"

Our Stay at The Bowery in New York was delightful! The hotel’s classic brick walls, soaring ceilings, and warm, inviting atmosphere created a comfortable and memorable retreat. Its prime location made exploring the city easy and convenient. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a stylish and charming stay in NYC.

"4.5"

I only stayed one night, so I didn’t get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but my brief visit was very enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly, informative, and genuinely welcoming. My room was small but clean and more than adequate—though for a longer stay, I’d go for a king room like my friend had. Dining options were solid: Gemma was enjoyable, and brunch in the lobby was good. What really sets this hotel apart is the completely relaxed atmosphere. I would happily stay here again.

"Fine, but far from amazing"

After years of anticipating a stay at the Bowery Hotel, I finally had the chance—but it fell short of expectations. My room wasn’t ready until 3:45 PM, and the front desk staff offered little apology or compensation for the delay. The room itself was spacious by NYC standards, but the bathroom door handle kept falling off, and the bed was surprisingly uncomfortable. Amenities were limited, though the size of the room was a plus. While I’m glad I crossed it off my bucket list, I probably won’t return.

"Sophisticated Downtown Loft Vibe"

Our room was quiet and beautifully decorated, and the hotel has a very cool vibe, especially in the downstairs areas. The on-site restaurants are gorgeous, and Lafayette Bakery is conveniently nearby. The only drawbacks were the firm bed and pillows, and a shower curtain that tended to blow in during use. Overall, a great stay—we’d return when in the Bowery area.

"Amazing bday staycation"

As a New York celebrating my birthday with a staycation, I was absolutely blown away by the warmth and kindness of the staff. I expected a stuffy, cold experience, but instead, I was met with genuinely inviting and thoughtful service. The room was fantastic, and the team went above and beyond to make my birthday and stay truly special.

"Breaks promises"

My first night was in a room facing the main road, which was extremely loud. A good night’s sleep was only possible with earplugs and medication. I was later moved to a quieter room, but it had a dangerously low-hanging metal lamp that I repeatedly hit my head on (I’m 6’2”). Additionally, the hotel had promised to store my bags for five days before I booked, but when the time came, they refused due to Fashion Week, causing significant inconvenience. Initially, I was leaning toward three stars, but these issues left me extremely dissatisfied. One star – avoid.

"Good enough for America"

This hotel feels overpriced and overrated, offering a mediocre experience that’s “good enough” by American standards. Its main draw seems to be its history and the celebrities it has hosted, rather than the quality of the stay itself. Essentially, you’re paying for the story rather than the experience.

The Bowery Hotel

This boutique hotel combines vintage elegance (Persian rugs, antique furniture) with cozy luxury; its high ceilings and marble bathrooms give character. It’s well-suited for travelers who like lodgings with story and atmosphere, plus it places you close to LES/SoHo action.
