"A veritable oasis of calm in a busy city"

Quirky, stylish, and full of personality, we absolutely loved this hotel. It beautifully captures the essence of the city’s colonial past, offering a unique alternative to the typical corporate-style accommodation. The staff are excellent, the food is good, and the central location makes it very convenient. Amid the bustle of the city, it truly feels like a peaceful oasis. Full of character and charm, we would gladly stay here again.

"A calm oasis in a central location"

The chaos of the streets outside disappears the moment you step through the gate into The Pavilion, where a lush garden, serene pool, and charming dining area create an immediate sense of calm. The beautifully preserved French colonial building features striking artwork, and we enjoyed exploring its quiet corners. Each room is unique—our first was a garden-style room with large windows and a very small bathroom, and although it felt hot and the curtains were insufficient, the team quickly relocated us to a room in the main building. This second room was compact yet comfortable, with everything we needed, including a very cozy bed and proper curtains. Breakfast is à la carte, a refreshing change with a great selection, even offering avocado toast, and you can technically order as much as you like. Above all, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—within walking distance to almost everything—making it wonderful to return to the peaceful gardens after a busy day exploring the city.

"Wow wow wow"

This hotel is fantastic—beautiful and calming in every corner. Our room was charming, featuring a four-poster bed, a private plunge pool, and its own garden area. Both swimming pools were excellent and looked especially magical at night with the soft lighting around the pool, bar, and restaurant. Breakfast was made to order with an impressive range of choices, and dinner was equally delicious. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the wonderful staff. Everyone was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, with a special mention to the bar and restaurant team who made our holiday unforgettable. Lovely people whom we truly enjoyed getting to know. We will definitely return and will also seek out other MAADS hotels in future travels.

"Perfect."

This hotel offers a lovely stay with its two inviting swimming pools set in a lush tropical garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere just a three-minute walk from Botum Park and the lively surrounding neighborhood. Our room was the smallest of all the hotels we visited—though to be fair, we had exceptionally large rooms elsewhere—but it was well-equipped with a very comfortable mattress, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar, kettle with tea and coffee, bathrobes, Wi-Fi, and two daily bottles of water. Our bathroom in room 17 was tiny, especially compared to room 16, though we appreciated having a small balcony. Breakfast is à la carte and very good, and the hotel thoughtfully provides two additional bathrooms with showers near the main pool, which was perfect for freshening up before our flight. Although mosquito repellent is offered, we still ended up getting bitten—perhaps the only downside to staying somewhere so quiet and green in the middle of the city. The staff, always smiling and eager to help, truly made the experience memorable. We’re keeping this address for our next visit.

"A beautiful oasis"

We stayed in a suite at The Pavilion, and it was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The staff were wonderfully helpful, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. We followed their recommendations for things to do, and each one turned out to be spot on. With two pools set in a lush, leafy environment, it truly feels like an escape—though you may want to bring mosquito spray for the front pool area. Housed in a French colonial building, this hotel isn’t about modern luxury; instead, it offers character, charm, and a sense of authenticity that stands apart from the city’s modern high-rises. If you’re seeking a calm oasis away from the urban bustle, The Pavilion is perfect. Don’t miss a massage from Dalin at the in-house spa—it was well priced and a true highlight of my stay.

"Relax in Phnom Penh"

This hotel is a true haven of peace, with two inviting swimming pools, elegant rooms, and warm, friendly staff. Breakfast is served by the pool, adding an extra touch of relaxation to each morning. Its location is ideal—just a few minutes’ walk from the river and the Royal Palace. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly recommend this address.

"Very comfortable place to stay if you have couple of days to visit Phnom Penh, food is really good!"

This hotel is absolutely worth the price, with an unbeatable location close to the main attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food is simply amazing—our breakfast here was by far the best we had in Cambodia!

"Poolside oasis"

This hotel turned out to be the oasis we never knew we needed. The moment you step through the unassuming street gate, you’re transported into another world—lush gardens, towering trees, birdsong, two serene pools, and open-air dining create a wonderfully tranquil escape. Coupled with proactive, genuinely caring staff, it all comes together as an exceptional guesthouse experience.

"Pleasant and peaceful stay."

This property offers a very beautiful setting just a few minutes from the city centre. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding, while the staff are genuinely friendly and always eager to help whenever needed. The restaurant’s food was also delicious, adding to the overall experience. We had a truly pleasant stay and would happily return.
