"Thank you."

A big thank you to Romain at Welcoming for his availability and friendliness, and to Elodie at the Spa for her wise advice and exceptional kindness. Their professionalism and warmth truly enhanced my experience and made my stay even more enjoyable.

"greedy parenthesis"

During our holidays, my husband and I had the pleasure of enjoying tea time at The Peninsula Paris. Naturally, it was excellent. We opted for a tea for two, which proved more than sufficient given the generous portions — including a refreshing sorbet, two tartlets, a delicate opera cake, and a large brioche. While the quality of the food was impressive, we found that the lounges and service, though pleasant, did not quite match the standards of some other Parisian palaces we are accustomed to visiting.

"Glorious Hotel"

A fabulous hotel that perfectly blends modern flair with timeless Parisian palace charm. The rooms are beautifully designed, offering impressive soundproofing and refined comfort—ideal for unwinding after exploring the city. The service is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful. While nearly everything was excellent, a few minor drawbacks include a rather firm mattress, a small gym, and the disappointing quality of the Cantonese restaurant. Additionally, the location isn’t the most central, but with Paris’s efficient metro system, getting around is easy. Overall, a stunning stay that marries elegance, comfort, and outstanding service.

"Disappointed but beautiful view."

We had the opportunity to enjoy the terrace at the Pension one evening, and the view was absolutely stunning — a true highlight. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable, making it a lovely spot to unwind. However, I was somewhat disappointed by certain service standards. Some guests were allowed in casual attire while others were not, creating a sense of inconsistency. Additionally, our order took longer than expected, though the cocktail we had was delicious. It was interesting to observe how other tables were served, particularly one guest who seemed to receive extra attention, which highlighted the variable service. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but I think I’ll try other palace bars next time. Rating: 4/5 — mainly for the terrace view and the excellent champagne ginger cocktail.

"Dream hotel"

I had the pleasure of spending two days at this hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience. Everything was perfect — from the warm welcome to the comfort of the rooms and the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. It’s a true haven of peace right in the heart of Paris. I highly recommend this property and will return with great pleasure.

"A French version of the Peninsula…"

My wife and I stayed at The Peninsula Paris the first week of June 2024. Having visited other Peninsulas (Chicago, Beverly Hills, etc.), we had high expectations. This is an absolutely stunning hotel — the lobby, rooms, bar, and restaurant are all gorgeous. L’Oiseau Blanc, in particular, is exceptional for both food and the view, but reservations need to be made well in advance. The staff is incredibly polite, professional, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to apologize for issues, sent chocolates, and even offered a parting gift and to “make things right.” The concierge and butler service were thoughtful, although we did experience a few inconsistencies, particularly with water replenishment and arranging taxis. That said, there were some operational hiccups. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on arrival, requiring hours of repair, and the iPads controlling lights, curtains, and TV didn’t function properly until the following morning. While the staff handled these issues with grace, it was a frustrating start. Minor annoyances also included inconsistencies with water delivery and a slight delay in getting a taxi to the airport. The location is excellent — two minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, a short walk to the Champs-Élysées, and right by Metro Line 6. The hotel also provides a house car for short trips nearby. Breakfast, especially when booked via Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts, was a real treat. A couples massage at the spa was excellent, though expensive, and overall, everything at the hotel comes with a premium price tag — expected in Paris, and especially at a Peninsula. Would I stay here again? It’s hard to say. The hotel is magnificent, and the staff is truly remarkable. But with a few operational missteps and so many incredible hotels nearby, we may explore other options next time. Still, it’s a wonderful experience, particularly for those seeking luxury, service, and the iconic Parisian location.

"Best hotel I’ve stayed at."

This is without a doubt the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in — and that’s saying a lot after experiences at the Four Seasons in DC, Sofitel in Athens, and five-star stays across Portugal, Spain, and Los Angeles. The staff here are refreshingly polite and genuinely friendly — almost un-French in their warmth! The bath, shower, and toilet facilities are exquisite (the Toto washlet is a dream!), the food and bar are top-notch, and the elevators are almost magically fast. A flawless experience from start to finish.

"A wonderful hotel experience"

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Peninsula Paris and highly recommend it. We arranged expedited arrivals at CDG Airport, and upon deplaning, a gentleman was waiting to whisk us through customs and into a waiting car — an absolutely wonderful option. From the moment we arrived, the bellmen greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. The hotel lobby is stunning, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and seamless. Our breakfast was delightful in a beautiful room, with excellent croissants to start the day. Shortly afterward, our suitcases were already in our room. The room itself was modern and comfortable, featuring wonderful beds, electric shades for the evening, and a spacious bathroom with both a tub and shower. The macarons left as a little touch were a lovely surprise. The hotel’s location is ideal — close to the Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and not far from the Eiffel Tower. The concierge team was excellent, arranging all our transportation needs efficiently. While we didn’t have dinner at the hotel, we did enjoy cocktails on the rooftop bar — a beautiful spot at night with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Although our stay in Paris was short, we would gladly return to The Peninsula on our next visit.

"Great facilities, terrible service"

The hotel's infrastructure is truly spectacular — the architecture is incredible, sophisticated, and elegant. The marble bathrooms with heated floors, bathtubs with TVs, and fresh fruit in the room were very impressive. The bed was wonderful, and all the lighting and curtains were automated. Housekeeping paid attention to small details, even wrapping our charger cables with personalized straps. The only downside in the room itself was the shower, which leaked significantly, forcing us to put towels on the floor during use. Unfortunately, the service did not match the high standards of the property. We had booked during the Indian Summer promotion, which promised an extra night after four stays and included breakfast. My husband tried booking directly on the website but was unable to do so, and contacting the hotel via email yielded no useful information. We then used an agency as an intermediary and were advised to speak to the manager at check-in to apply the benefit. Despite speaking with four different staff members, it took calling the manager, Anthony, to even get a response — yet the issue was never resolved. He claimed not to know about the promotion and insisted we should have booked online, which we had tried to do but were denied. Each new staff member offered a different excuse, leaving us frustrated. Breakfast was a disappointment. We paid €64 per day per person for what was advertised as included, but in reality, it only covered drinks, bread, and eggs. Yogurt, cheese, and fruit had to be ordered separately, costing over €38 per portion. Service was extremely slow, and on one occasion a waitress rushed my mother-in-law to place her order in a rude manner. Orders had to be repeated multiple times, which is not what one expects from a hotel of this caliber. Other service shortcomings included the pool hours, which ended at 10 PM — inconvenient for guests exploring the city during the day. At the end of our stay, we were nearly charged for snacks we never ordered, and we only caught the error because we carefully checked the bill. Overall, while the property itself is outstanding, the service left much to be desired. It felt as though the hotel values celebrity guests more than regular visitors, which diminished the overall experience.
