"First night in Bangkok"

This was my first stay in Bangkok, and overall, it was a very nice experience. The hostel has more of a hotel feel, with comfortable rooms that offered plenty of storage space. Breakfast was very good—the chicken sandwich is a must-try. The rooftop restaurant, however, was just okay and nothing spectacular. One issue I raised with the front desk was the 10% guest discount advertised in the elevator and mentioned at check-in. When I asked for it, the restaurant staff said the discount was no longer offered. The manager promised to report it to the general manager, but unfortunately, there was no resolution. It seems the restaurant operates separately from the hostel, which caused confusion. The location is quite central, in the Victory Monument area, with plenty of local dining options, a barbershop where I got a shave for just 50 baht, and a massage parlor across the street offering excellent full-body massages for 300 baht. While the MRT and BTS stations aren’t nearby, using Grab to get around was very convenient and affordable. Overall, a comfortable stay with a hotel-like atmosphere, great value, and a few hiccups that management should address.

"So much noisy"

The hostel could be fine, but avoid staying on the 4th floor. The rooftop bar plays loud music after midnight, and with guests going up and down the stairs, it gets very noisy. Not a good choice if you want to rest while enjoying the city.

"GOOD STAY WOULD RECOMMEND"

I had a comfortable stay here overall. Breakfast was about 7/10—limited choices but good quality, with eggs and other basics. The bed was decent (8/10), with good air conditioning and a nice dark room, though it could have been a bit comfier. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and I met a couple of nice people during my stay. I especially liked the rooftop bar, which overlooks Bangkok city and adds a great vibe. The staff were friendly, check-in was smooth, and they had helpful knowledge about local spots. Overall, a good value stay for the price.

"Good price, not so clean."

We booked a private room with a bathroom, but upon arrival, we found long black hairs in the sheets—neither mine nor my wife’s—and hair scattered across the floor, suggesting the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The staff quickly replaced the sheets, which was helpful. The location is good, and the staff were friendly, but the hostel was quite noisy. They provide two bottles of water per day, though you can refill them downstairs. For the price of a private room in a hostel, it was acceptable, but next time we’ll make sure the room is properly cleaned before settling in.

"Ideal for short stays"

This hotel is very well located, with plenty of attractions within a 20–25 minute walk. Taxis and tuk-tuks are also easy to find. The hotel has a cozy style, and the staff are attentive, helpful, and speak English. I appreciated the option of a breakfast box for early departures, and the restaurant offers both European and Thai cuisine at reasonable prices, with the bonus of dining on the rooftop—a very nice experience. The double bedroom was spacious and well equipped. The only downsides were the lack of a real window for natural light and air conditioning that wasn’t strong enough to keep the room cool at night. Still, for a short stay, this hotel is a solid and good-value choice in the area.

"Not bad, not excellent"

For the price of 450 baht, I expected a slightly better experience. Overall, the stay was generally okay, but there was one issue: upon arrival, the staff asked me to pay again even though I had already paid online. I’m not sure if this was a mistake or a policy, but it was confusing and inconvenient.

"Not bad."

Overall, this place was pleasantly surprising. The location is convenient, and the rooftop bar is a great highlight. The dorm beds are private, spacious, and come with plenty of power points and even your own TV. Each room has AC, which is a big plus. The only odd thing was the rule about putting down a deposit for a key—strange considering you’ve already paid for the room. Aside from that, it’s a solid and comfortable stay.

"Good value but still room for improvement"

Considering the price, the place is actually fine. However, not all staff speak English, training seems limited, and they can be inflexible at times. Additionally, the WiFi was not very reliable. Overall, it’s an acceptable budget option, but with a few inconveniences.

"A nice and comfortable stay."

My stay at The Printing House was comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were very spacious and well-maintained. The only downside was that the toilets and showers felt a bit low quality compared to the rest of the hostel. Overall, it was a good experience, and I enjoyed my time here.

"Nice place"

During our visit to Bangkok, we had lunch at this somewhat trendy restaurant. The service was excellent—fast, polite, and knowledgeable. The food was very good, though not outstanding, and the prices were reasonable, typical for Bangkok. In full disclosure, our tour guide chose the restaurant, so it wasn’t our personal selection.
