"The food and drinks here are"
The food and drinks here are truly delicious, and while the prices are on the higher side, they reflect the quality. Occasionally, the front counter is left unattended, and promptly greeting customers upon arrival would enhance the experience. Overall, I would recommend this place and would happily return. Thanks for being here!
"Starting to go downhill"
I’ve enjoyed many visits to Bang Bang over the past two years, but recently my experiences have been disappointing. Arriving an hour after opening, often as the only customer, I’ve repeatedly had to point out basic issues—lack of toilet paper and paper towels, overflowing trash cans, and bathrooms that are either perpetually wet or clogged. Cockroaches and ants have become a recurring problem, even interfering with my dessert and tea. I’ve also been served stale cookies on multiple occasions. Additionally, the recent redesign of the ground floor removed multiple small seating areas in favor of a large one for groups, which doesn’t suit the majority of customers who come alone or in pairs. It’s disheartening, as it feels like Bang Bang has stopped prioritizing customer experience. While I understand business may be down due to the pandemic, that shouldn’t justify neglecting these basic standards.
"Really Good Carrot Cake"
Bang Bang offers a variety of visually appealing cakes, and we chose the carrot cake, which was delightful. The staff are friendly and always smiling, making the experience even better.
"Good cafe to chill out"
This café is a bit off the beaten path but easily accessible by Tuk Tuk. The dessert selection is limited, but the carrot cake is excellent—moist and served in a generous portion.
"Excellent"
Although I only stopped by for a quick espresso and cake, I was very impressed by how bright and well-decorated the space is. The quality of the décor really stood out, and I would definitely return.
"Good coffee, amazing bakery"
A great little café-bakery! I had a gluten-free cupcake, which was one of the best I’ve ever had, and a cappuccino that was beautifully made, along with an espresso that, while lacking a full crema, was still enjoyable. The space was a bit warm, but I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their baked goods.
"WOW, fresh and fabulous"
An amazing addition to Siem Reap’s dining scene, this little gem offers fresh and fabulous options for both omnivores and vegans. Seating is limited indoors, but there’s also outdoor seating available. I’ll definitely be returning!
"Very nice."
This is a very nice, bright place with friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommended!
"Cute cafe with local baked treats"
A cute little café offering great coffee and local baked goods. The carrot cake was particularly good, and the friendly staff along with the convenient location make it a lovely spot to visit.
"Good but very overpriced"
A cute restaurant with a nice bar and a very pleasant outdoor patio. The food quality is good, but it’s definitely on the pricey side. They automatically add a 20% tip to all bills, which feels excessive, especially if the service didn’t meet expectations.
